Yes, it's much more compact and cost less than the BattleFoam insert on it's own.

Wow that is practical, reminds me i should get myself another 2 amirigers to get myself a renegade knight detachment. ( iactually have no idea about Knights but technically i can make a detachment with 4 Amirigers right?)

Yes - for a super heavy detachment you need between 3 and 5 LOW slots filled. You can put between 1 and 3 Armigers in each. 4 Armigers would give you a 700 point detachment but no CP because you need a TITANIC unit for 3CP and 3 TITANIC units for 6CP...

6 Armigers is a 1000 point detachment. If you add a Renegade Knight too that's 1500 points (and 3CP)...

I am everything but slowed down by CP, I play Renegades and heretics, it's about the only thing they are good for
Also they don't eat CP soooo.

Probably will run 4 amirigers, altough i really really love the melee one.

Yeah when I run 6 I have 4 Warglaives and 2 Helverins - with one of the Warglaives as my Warlord. The Helverins are awesome in a long range fire support role but are no use at melee. The Warglaives are much better as an all-round unit and for advancing on objectives.

The sad truth of the matter is, that Hellverin amirigers are probably better then my Decimator for slightly more points.....

Gotta run them alongside my AF militia list for 1000 pts, which fields a vanguard, a battalion.

Both there are filled with regular infantry so i don't worry to much about board controll.

At 344 pts for the gun ones and 324 for the CQC ones that would make for a preety dangerous list then.
Meaning that i technically could run 3 Amirigers and two CQC ones and another 100 plus models.

Actually that might have sparked an idea.....

You say that as if it's a dead cert. This could just be new model. Either way we'll find out before I decide on loadouts for the Questoris class knight.

I actually doubt very much it will be a new codex. Index: Renegade Knights was only published in CA 2018 6 months ago (I appreciate it was released as a PDF prior to that too) and that book will still be on sale for the rest of this year...

I guess I was wrong and I'll be buying a new codex...
