And here I was thinking you could just turn in G2A for a bonus

Ok yes yes its not them stealing cards but it does make me wonder how many other businesses are fronts for card fraud like that (if not deliberate fronts then accidental or just business that are very susceptible to it).

Far, far too many.

Though this isn’t a scam I’ve previously encountered, as we come from the other end, deciding whether or not someone has actually been defrauded. Or done fraud.

Will be keeping my eye out for this now though!

Yeah, this is more the "fraud enabling" side of things.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Even Devolver hates and dunk on G2A, and that's saying something.

If everyone in the industry, from indie to AAA, from devs to publishers, hates on G2A, it's time to reach the conclusion that somehow, maybe, G2A is bad!

"Our fantasy settings are grim and dark, but that is not a reflection of who we are or how we feel the real world should be. [...] We will continue to diversify the cast of characters we portray [...] so everyone can find representation and heroes they can relate to. [...] If [you don't feel the same way], you will not be missed"

Did you also get Yuri's Revenge? If so, I hope you got the version that leaves the voice lines of the Hollywood in Vain mission intact for the actors, that mission was a blast.

Get CnCnet client, the multiplayer still lives. I play it from time to time.

How do?

So RA2 is clearly the best game ever, but I’m currently at a loss on how to get my fix.

See, my PC doesn’t have a CD drive, and it doesn’t seem to be on Steam.

HALP!

If you have the CDs, you could buy an external drive and rip the game files from the discs into an ISO file. Windows has innate virtual drive capabilities so provided it is ripped into the right format, you won't even need to download a virtual drive program like DaemonTools.

Something to keep in mind for the future if you have games on disc which you want to run.

The Laws of Thermodynamics:
1) You cannot win. 2) You cannot break even. 3) You cannot stop playing the game.

Most certainly did.

However, having some issues running it. Despite PC being new, and specced way beyond what an old game requires, it keeps crashing.

I think it’s because the PC keeps downloading updates. With everything that’s going on in personal life, I don’t have the brain to spare to figure it out right now.

If you keep getting error messages, you might need to get a fix. Windows from 7 and further might need it. Just google it and it should be easy to solve.
