Mind if I ask what kind of machine you are using to print these? And is there a lot of post-work? (They look super smooth when painted).

I am using my personal in home Anycubic photon resin printer, Christmas gift from my wife a few years back printing at 0.02 layer thickness gives a nice smooth finish, I just remove them from build plate dump them in some IPA and scrub them gently off and remove any support stakes and then put them under UV light to cure, then the rest is just basically prime in undercoat of choice and have fun painting.

Over Friday night I had chance to print up the mast and yards I needed to put sails and flags on all my currently finished ships and over last night I was able to sit down and install the flag poles on the Gonam proxy command ship..

Right now creating some sail designs in Gimp for my metal fish proxy ships that I painted up but have been waiting for their masts and sails for over a year.

Hoist the colors just about have all sails added to my fleet just need to replace the incorrect yards on the iron sharks and then it will be good for battle

Working on sails for my Slan ships now

The Slannesh sail is great. I wish I had the space for a printer and the tech to operate it.

After some hard work and working from old photos of the old ship I modeled a new proxy ship model to finish up my Slannesh fleet some quick pics of how the ship turned out..

Are you doing the modelling yourself and are you interested in ideas? I was wondering about a Man O War style Squat Space Fleet, steampunk dreadnaughts and space blimps!

All the models I am doing myself and they are not 3D laser scans just me working from photo's and good eye and carefully modeling from reference and to scale. I did do a conversion of the dwarf balloon to turn it into a bombing blimp for the dwarf faction in man o war. I used the proxy of the dwarf balloon and then remixed it into a blimp

Are your STLs available anywhere? I might just try to make Space Fleet Squats.

Small update I am in process of slowly modeling out sails for all the ships I have modeled to remove the need to fiddly with paper sails on such tiny ships and get them to stick to the yard arms..
