Nice work, great looking force! How have all those new CoC gals worked for you? I watched them get released and assumed they'd shake things up a bit, but the WMH bloggers and folks I follow haven't mentioned them.

Haven't gotten to play due to the lockdown sadly. I've seen them prove pretty successful though. Being able to cross the center line on the top of 1 with most of the army puts a lot of pressure on the opponent and some strong assassination pieces in JAIMS and Gaspy4 helps keep that pressure on the whole game.

Just noticed Gaspy over there on the left, really not used to his friendly clockwork version Ah, and those are converted void archons, aren't they? I was just trying to remember if there were clockwork archons ala the blight ones.

EDIT: Finally noticed that those are standard void wings, nice!

Not really converted at all. Void Archons are just very similar to Clockwork Angels, which gets really noticeable when you paint them in the same scheme.

At first glance the colors screamed Cygnar, but that actually turned out nice for a convergence force.

Looks to be a fast in your face assault army like my buddies circle wolf themed force.

Technically its a mercenary army... at least that's how I plan to pair and play it.

I actually bought into the clocks when they first launched almost entirely because I'm a sucker for things with angel wings, but never did anything with the army almost entirely because the things with angel wings weren't very good. I had sold most everything off outside of the jack army I painted early on and the angels so when all that stuff got ported to my Mercs.... pretty happy to finish my original plan.

My little Cygnar force At least the painted ones, anyway. There's some Trenchers, Stormguard and some more 'jacks to paint, but I don't seem to have had the time recently sadly.

Thanks for posting, always love to see what people have done. i never got into cygnar even though i know they are the "heros" of the setting.

I would really like to see the skorne do something interesting with all the stone constructs i love the look of the caster, zhaal the eternal, the ancestral guardians and such, but there is not enough variety in those units to make a full army out of them.

It's gotten a little better with the Supreme Guardian and new character Ancestral Guardian, Abidan the Keeper, and the void solos have added the possibility of "color".

But yeah, for units your choices are Beast Handlers and Immortals, and that's it. If Beast Handlers weren't so required for Skorne armies to operate, I doubt they'd even be in there.

I'm not sure what one could do. Venators weren't Exalted, until maybe recently, so giving them slings or reivers is out.

Maybe a heavily defensive unit with spears and shields?

yeah i forgot the supreme guardian, wish it was a warbeast so you could use it to fill the required slots. but it does look fantastic. what drew me was the immortal guardian because of the anubis look.

I do love the hydra, but i doubt PP is going to do much with WM/H anytime in the near future with all the focus on riot quest, monpoc and their new game.

Zaal2 Immortal is a top tier army. Really hard to deal with that much armor and the Supreme Guardian is just a terror.

They're doing a Legion CID right now, and Trollbloods are scheduled a CID before the end of the year.

To make it worse, the last CID Skorne had was the Immortals Theme, so it would be a long shot for any attention there when Skorne comes around again. I'm guessing that we're more likely to see Winds of Death or Masters of War being looked at when Skorne comes up (assuming it isn't a combined-faction Theme).

Somehow also missed the Hydra comment. It's actually quite good and works surprisingly well in the Immortals list as an anchor.

Probably not the most optimal list, but I've faced this and its pretty scary:

Yeah he does great work, all the stuff on the custom brick bases are all done by the same guy. the new editions are my officer attachments for the bombardiers and shock troopers, the actual bombardier squad and of course the Victor.
