Nifty terrain tip I saw from WintersSEO

He pours some gravel around each terrain piece and throws some moss here and there to blend "terrain pieces" with the Mat
imho very effective

New stuff-...with the help of a friends 3d printer and a large helping of sacrusmundus terrain along with galeforce 9 gothic terrain. my imperial city table for 40K is finally finished.

This is MAT 1 version. the other city mat is more ruined/war torn. more pics fo that set up later.

The spotlight this time around is 3D printed terrain from forbidden prints industrial set i recently picked up.

War scenery did a recent update to their dawn of war space marine outpost terrain. -an orbital relay, listening post, armored listening post, bunker, machine cult, defense turret, chapel, arsenal and the piece i had printed out-the barracks.

Where are these buildings from? some great stuff there.

The manufactorum and walls are from war scenery, the industrial buildings are from forbidden prints, the storage tanks are from corvus games terrain. the small scatter terrain pump stations etc.. are from the printpire,
and the barracks like buildings are hard foam from the now defunct antenocitis workshop.

Color me impressed! I was trying to make ruined terrain like that for a Crone World, but it didn't go very well

That set has few other pieces i didn't need. but i also didn't realize how large the pieces were the main ruin is like a foot across.

Don't know if that helps you any. he also has several sets for tyranid infested eldar ruins and dark eldar cities. the latter looks impressive....and painfully spiky

Those tau, eldar scenery are very nice, would like a photo from the table with the computergame scenery with a marnie next to it for scale.
