I paid for W and only a TFG would oppose letting me use it, since it can easily be countered by W.

There has been a bunch of votes for W, and it seems its all evening out.
W=10 W=9 W=9
Where did all those votes come from, and what for ? Must be a reason. Seems W is more popular than first was indicated.

I'm pretty sure that's just trolls. They're a devote base of players on Dakka Dakka that don't even play W but think that they still deserve to force their opinions about W on others.

Hogwash. Just because I don't play 8th Ed. doesn't mean I don't understand the merits and pitfalls of W vs W and W! So I voted W, because I feel it's a better generalist interpretation of what a W weapon should represent, not because it's overpowered. Fanboys can go on all day about how W is awesome but until they get stuck playing an army without any W weaponry they should try to keep things in perspective.

The key is to have a conversation with your opponent before the match. Yes W can be countered by W, but if instead your opponent is bringing their TAC list which has an even mix of W, W, and W (and possibly some w, m and M), the game will be no fun for them. I'd be careful with how you throw around TFG, as it really seems you might be TFG.

And don't forget, some factions like Dark Eldar don't get anything near as powerful as W, they are stuck with V (or U if they ally in Eldar, but at that point is it really a dark eldar list?).

W is in the lead now, W and W have both been pushed back. So i dunno. Seems there is a lot of love for W. Not sure why.

W is OP so obvious W.

W hasn’t been a good option for several editions now. On the other hand, W has only been made even better with latest codex.

Still, no love for X, though.

Xeno, your W bias is so obvious, the same old saw, seriously.

I just saw on a French forum that there will be a Warhammer Community article about W, and guessss what...they get new Ws.

I did 10,000 simulations on this issue and in every single one W came out as the winner, so I'm really not sure how anyone would vote otherwise.
