Posts on their Facebook page within the last two weeks indicate that some orders have been dispatched this month. These are posts by customers though; Maxmini themselves haven't posted there since the New Year (or updated their website, either). Some users on FB have said that, if you have an account with Maxmini, then your order status may by shown there. I don't, so can't confirm that.

They said it would take till feb at least to clear their backlog of orders even with the store closed. They've also not upsized their team to meet the production demand.

It's a pain that they don't communicate more, but their current level of communication is about on-par with how it was in November and since when I made an order and didn't hear much.

Note that if your post hasn't got tracking and thus you dont' get a tracking email - it might still take a whole month for your parcel to clear Polish customs.

I'm still waiting on an order but I didn't make it till the last few days before their store closed.

I think paypal now gives you at least 80 days (it might be more) to challenge payments so you should be fairly well covered for a while before you have to worry.

My apologies in slight delay in replies to emails sent directly to me (przemek@maxmini.eu). For the past 2 weeks I've been heavily involved in moldmaking so we could fight the backlog more efficiently.
We've just got an extra temporary staffer so hopefully things will start moving quicker .

To add another experience, I placed an order in early December, and my shipment arrived last week. Everything was fine, just a bit of flash on some of the minis. Between their small emergency staff and customs, patience is required. .

OK, the order I placed on 12/1/19 came in on 01/25/20.

Models are clean.

Satisfied, and sorry to see them close down....

A bit of a personal note. I'm overwhelmed. A while back I've posted my direct email so people who had issues with contacting through orders@maxmini.eu could use. And the number of emails is hard to keep up - considering I'm also doing moulding, printing, helping with getting the sale deal done, part time job and my services as a volunteer.
So while we're still out here and working hard to finish remaining orders (and since we've got Kuba for help things started moving as we've hoped - he rocks!) currently contacting me is a bit problematic - which I apologize for.
The thing that currently every single person in the workshop is a wee bit sick (we've got some cold - sneezing, sore throat and all the assorted issues) doesn't help either

Hi there!

Many of you have already received your orders and can safely enjoy new products, but still there are many who are waiting for their orders.

How much time do we need to send literally all packages?
Considering all possible and known circumstances - about 3 weeks!

I would like to apologize for the situation at the same time.
After the announcement we got so many orders that nobody here could expect and we still have a huge work to do with it and many problems to solve...
Fortunately, you helps us a lot with your wonderful and forgiving attitude. This positive energy drives us to work more efficiently. It's very helpful!
Thank you very much for your wonderful understanding attitude.
We get a lot of emails from you with words of support and assurance that you can wait longer. Sometimes it's difficult to find words that describe how much your positive attitude, patience and understanding mean to us! Especially at the moment ...
Thank you all for the kind words in the comments, emails etc. It's unbelievable!

We still have a lot of work to make all these things done but please stay with us! This is really the last straight before the finish.

Cheers!

- MaxMini's team

They also noted in a reply to a post on that new post that they were still in negotiations about a new firm/group taking on the library of sculpts they've got.

Happy to report my order finally came in - everything looks great and I think I ended up with an extra set of shoulderpads.

Another update. Today I received an order which was placed on the 27th of December, so a couple of days before the company finally closed their web shop. It had actually been posted on the 6th of March, but it had a long way to come. I can report no problems with the packaging and the presence of freebies, which was nice.

From their FB

Hey there!

All parcels that remain to be shipped are ready and are waiting for pick up by the Post.
In fact we are waiting for the development of the situation in connection with CoronaVirus.

The Polish Post has introduced some restrictions regarding the dispatch of letters and parcels outside Poland.

This week we will be able to arrange shipping on standard terms to Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Some countries in the current situation have refused the usual rules of cooperation, and only economic shipments can be sent (temporarily), which delivery takes longer than usual.
Those are:
Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands.
USA, Mexico and Canada are currently shipping only by sea, which extends the waiting time.

Countries not listed above are currently subject to temporary suspension of shipments. Unfortunately, despite many efforts, we have not received any binding answer regarding the current situation from Polish post. Only that we have to wait for the info how the situation will develop.

In the end, finally we completed all orders - take a look at the photo where you can see them all. We have literally only 46 packages to ship . Of course, we remember how long you had to wait and we are sorry for that again. And at the same time we are all very happy that we have reached this wonderful moment and we have everything ready for shipping

It's very likely that within the next week things will normalize and another part of the restricted countries will be restored to normal operating principles. Literally two days ago, international shipments to all countries were suspended, but today the possibility of trade was restored to many of them. Let's wait calmly for the situation to develop.
In our opinion, it is worth postponing the shipment to countries that are currently limited and decide to collect shipments only by sea or only accept economic shipments. It's possible that next week post offices from countries which are subject to various restrictions due to CoronaVirus will resume normal operations.

In this difficult international situation, we wish you all to be healthy and full of strength!

We will inform you about the current situation as soon as we have more information.

Take care!

Basically what we'd expect after the news that Polish Post was shutting down its international postage system by air which from what I can tell shuts down a lot of their domestic international post.

I've also had my delivery made - loads of hussar wings - with no problems. Still got fingers crossed for them passing the line onto another firm to do the work.

Glad to hear that you got them. Out of curiosity, what are you using them for?

For these

Winged Hussar Deathriders!

The connection point to the body I have to shave down a fair bit from what they provide, but its a very easy modification to make. I did try them on the saddle back instead of the character (which is another authentic position they were mounted too in reality). They looked just as good, but to me they just feel better as part of the rider rather than part of the saddle.

Ah, cool! I'm a winged hussars fan myself so it's nice to see other's takes on the idea. I agree that in general they look better on the rider rather than the saddle. You also don't lose the asthetic if you make one dismounted.

True and you could do that easily since the Mortek Guard (infantry) use the same model design. I think the shields are different between infantry and cavalry as are the helms. So there's a few subtle differences, but yeah you could make some standing troops if you wanted.

Though as the riding beast has the riders groin region moulded onto the saddle (the legs then connect in either side) it would mean a little bit of cut and scrape on the saddle to clean the rider off. Very easily done. The greater problem is that most of the mounts are going for a full run in their pose so you'd have to have good reason for the rider to be off and the mount moving.

From FB:

Maxmini is delighted to announce that we have found a buyer for our range of miniatures so that their production can continue and the range can expand in the future. The Troll Trader parent company of TTCombat is the new owner of our IP and we are pleased to have made a deal with one of the markets most trusted companies. Mulitiple buyers approached us but the passion shown for our designs by the team at Troll Trader and their plans for the future made it an easy choice to work out a deal with them. Considering their show presence worldwide these products will hopefully find their way into the hands of far more gamers than ever before. it is good to know the future of our minis is in good hands.

https://ttcombat.com/ is their web store for their own stuff (but the MaxMini stuff isn't on there yet).

Just coming to post the Troll Trader buyout news, so glad the minis will stick around (and hopefully some of the KS stuff that didn't make it to retail will reappear too)
