Tried a few times repeatedly changing the top-right dropdown to UK, but it still reset every time to "Rest of the World" and said my address was invalid.

Can someone post here when they get it to work, please?

Since these are free downloads. what does it matter which country you register? Just pick one that works, and download.

You can always get the address corrected if and when you want to order physical product at a later date.

I tried it on my phone's browser this morning and it worked for me. If it's still an issue on PC, try it on your phone.

The Osprey site is now working properly for me so they've either fixed it or the server load is down, so if you had problems give it a try again now

No issues for me.

I think their site is just being crushed by volume. I tried multiple times yesterday from multiple platforms, and it was slow on each one. This morning everything went smooth using my cell phone. Here in the US there’s a lot of broadband issues with everyone staying home from the coronavirus. I’m sure that’s causing a lot of issues.

Maybe that's what's happening now?

Because I'm still not able to get through the whole process on their site...

If its of any interest I was just able to sign up and download stuff; if anyone is having trouble at this particular time its probably more on their side of things than on Osprey's.

Works for me now - I was still getting the address issue this morning.

I got the Frostgrave stuff to work on my iPad but have pretty much given up on that Samurai book ...for now. I can’t wait to download it so that I might rest assured I can not read it at my leisure.

I get the dreaded 500 Internal Server Error. it's highly unlikely that it is a problem on my end.

However, I created a new account and was able to get the ebook I sought. Passing strange.

I was still getting the 500 error every time I tried to log in as I had since the day they posted it. I suspected the error in my case was related to having items added with RoW selected in the cart when logging in with the US store selected, so I did the following and it seemed to get me to where I was able to get the books with no problem. I'm posting the steps I took here in case it helps someone else:

1. Open Incogito/Private browser window
2. Go to www.ospreypublishing.com
3. Change store to "Rest of World"
4. Log in with your account
5. Go to the shopping cart and empty it
6. Close Incognito/Private window
7. Go to site in normal browser window.
8. Ensure correct store is selected
9. Try to log in; if it lets you in you will likely be able to add books and complete the checkout (at least I was).

If this does help resolve the issue let folks know; I'm not promising that I wasn't just snapping my fingers to keep away the elephants (i.e. - entirely coincidental), but it does seem to follow the logic of why the server would behave so badly for people who tried earlier but has no issues with new people and folks who are legitimately "Rest of World" customers.

If you follow the link for week two and adjust the 2 to a three you get the page for week three books, but the code is not working.

FWIW, I'm in the US and it times out on the login. First the "I'm not a robot" captcha times out a minute in and if I leave the window chugging along it eventually gets the 500 error message without ever actually logging in.

I’ve tried multiple times every day this week, sometimes I get logged in, other times I get stuck with the 500 error. I know I shouldn’t complain about getting freebies, but access is getting crazy. I can’t even get logged in to read the ones I’ve already downloaded.

FWIW, it just worked without a hitch for me in the US. I bought (two copies of the PDF as I didn't realize the old session that didn't log in had it in the cart!) for free with the coupon and downloaded the Polish book as well.

I tried all day yesterday and just now today and it is still not working for me. I can get to the blog page and the home page but on login it just sits and spins until the verification expires.

Just logged on and got the free books - worked without any issues at all at 10:50PM EST in the USA!

Tried again just now and finally got it to work (about 10 AM PST). I got to the checkout in Chrome but it gave me an error about being in the wrong store. Tried to change to US store and it hung up again, which is exactly what it did yesterday. I finally closed Chrome, opened IE logged in, emptied my cart, logged out, opened the blog page, changed country to US, logged back in, filled cart and was able to check out normally. So that was fun!

Mine worked fine yesterday. Just had to reload a page or two. Not sure why it's tougher in certain areas.

Finally got through all the way around 11pm CST. Didn’t do anything different, just finally got passed the 500 error code.
