Thanks guys ! Glad you like !

Here the new photos I was talking about, I actually finished another death rider yesterday and I took the time to make a little group photo, 13 of them are painted only 3 more to go ! I will create a little diorama pice for them I Think once they will be finished ...

Also finished another grenadier recently

For now you can rediscover the old macharius, chimeras tank or even the commissar ... that like I said on my previous post did not have any good pictures for themselves ...

Some absolutely stunning work here, you've absolutely nailed the atmosphere of the minis through your basing and weathering and the minis themselves are well executed.

Love the macharius vulcan especially.

Thanks guys for your nice comments ! I'm glad that you like my works, that's really my favorite army I never get bored of painting them !

Talking about the Macharius I guess I will take one day another big heavy tank I don't wich one yet ...the "Malcador" is tempting ... but I want to make some airforce like Valkyrie or Vulture first, I don't have any plane for now in my army and never painted one I must repair that mistake !

If I may ask, how do you get the light brown on your horses?

love that pale skin you have on the nags. even better that you have more than 1 tone of skin.
I also love your painting style. I struggle with getting the 2 or 3-tone shading style to work for me but you've nailed it.

Hello Guys,

Wow ! Thanks alot for all your nice feedbacks guys, I really appreciate !

416_SpaceWolves wrote:If I may ask, how do you get the light brown on your horses?
Sure thing ! Well I have alot of technics for this light brown (if you talk about this kinda flesh tone ?) just for making even a little bit of tones difference, one of them (and the first that I've done in fact) is to paint the horse with "Rakart flesh" and then a shade of "Reikland fleshshade" after that you can highlight the parts needed with rakart flesh again and a mix of "pallid wych flesh" for a more clear effect.
If you are in a rush for painting you can juste make dry brush of "Terminatus stone" after the shade is done, I personnaly love passing time painting my models but I can understand that some peoples just want to have quickly their models painted for putting them into the table so ... it's one of the usefull tips !

I know right ... sadly I guess the Death Korps will disappear references after references ... and I kinda dream of a plastic kit ... just imagine how badass they could look with a new plastic kit ! I just want to see death rider on a charging position and running course !

Oh ?! I've seen some in the past but it's true that moslty they are painted on grey German tone.
The DKK is such a good opportunity to paint them as the French army I just coudln't resist !

Your welcome !

doktor_g wrote:Fantastique! Any tips on how you did your snow?

Sure, I use Valhallan blizzard from GW and sometimes I blend it with the "muddy ground" from AK and for make it even more wet/muddy like I put some "Fresh mud" from AK (enamel prducts).

Here a new model ! I recently found two kits of the old Vendetta from FW, already built and painted but thankfully the paint was not thick so it was easy to rework on it, I even disassembled the model (who already arrived in sad condition) to paint all the details better, the eapons are magnetized but since I also have all the others weapons options in bag, for the second one I plan to paint all the interior and add the heavy bolters on the side with some Krieg soldiers inside.

Here the first one painted, the base has kinda two side, one is more urban and the other show a start of a "no man's land" with mudd and barbed wire.
As i said my army is based on the French army during both world wars so I had the idea for my first plane to add a white arrow (first free hand ...) and the lion on the side as a discreet reference to the Free french squadron "Normandie Niemen" (1942-1945), the colors scheme is also a reference in fact (click on the spoiler for a true pictures of this planes).

Spoiler:

Great work on the camo for the Vendetta. The cockpit lighting also looks terrific. But I like the decals the most, that Soviet 'lightning bolt' design is so cool and it works perfectly on the model.

As always, looking forward to more!

Thanks for your nice comment I appreciate !

I tought the green cockpit was a great idea since the camo is on darker tone already with Grey and black, it really make the pilots pop-up more.

Hello Guys !

Don't have much time to take care of my Battle sister and DKK army but still ... I've took the time to finish this bust that I bought long time ago on ebay (it's 3D printed), It gave me opportunity to work differents aspects and technics such as leather, clothes ... and I also tried to work the famous NMM that I never had the Opportunity to make ... expect on very small area with poor blending aspect.

That looks great. Would you mind giving me some hints on how you achieved that blueish color on the uniform? Should I ever get around to getting myself some Kriegers I would like to orient them towards the blueish french WWI uniforms and yours looks really good for that.

Hello everyone !

it's been a while !

Sadly I didn't had much time recently because of the commssions works I could not work on my own projects ... but here I took the month to work new technics and keep working on my armies !

What's better to show that some "scenario" photos wanted to try this since a long time ... the background is from on an old white dwarf ... I will try to reprint it on larger size, it was just an "essai".

Here one of the krieg soldier made in october 2021 ... from the kill team set ... you will see i was not totally happy with this blue ... to bright and "electrical" ...

So I didn't had time as i said earlier to work on my dkk again since that day ... but last week and today I actually made two more krieg soldiers of the "at ease" version and I've reworked the bleu scheme and added texture to the fabric and now i'm really happy with ! I know i've showed you many version of it but I think i have the good recipe for now.

They are more clean both for the soldiers and the base than the others models but because they are "in rest" so it could figure fresh troops that have not yet seen combat, we can imagine the soldiers being in the rear front line were old combats happened (that's why the rat and the shells)

Pour le gloire de l'empire de l'homme!

Very, very impressive.

There is much to appreciate in everything you've shown, but my favorite small touch is the playing-card suits as unit designators for your armor. Quite a call-back to the original Char!

Bravo!
