catachan devil.
Was hoping BSF managed to drag one in but sadly not.
Would definitely be an interesting model to see.
Likely though that between it’s size and niche it would never get a model.
Edit: Would also like to see dog units for guard.
We see tons of dogs with characters here and there and they are everywhere in fluff, but in general game terms we don’t have any.
Would love them as an addition to characters or as a unit.

Is there a difference between a normal Clawed Fiend and one of the Donorian Sector. We do have a miniature for a Clawed Fiend.
No difference at all.
Not sure about any others, but the 5th ed DE codex tells you explicitly they are one and the same. Essentially, a Warp storm broke the Webway gate in the Donorian sector allowing the Webway in that area to get infested with Clawed Fiends. So, the Wych cults capitalise and round them up every now and again for use in battle.

Disclaimer: I'm suggesting this merely as a fantasy world where Forgeworld miniatures are well cast, and reasonably priced...this is not a product suggestion I'd actually buy from the Forgeworld that exists right now.
While not logical for general gameplay, a small line of non-combatants would be a nice option for narrative players and those doing dioramas. A line of pilots, emissaries, leaders, prisoners, space ship captains, etc. for the major races would have been a cool option. Useful for scenarios and stuff like Inq28 or role-playing. It'd be cool to have an Eldar corsair crew, for instance, or some dismounted vehicle crewmen for a variety of armies. Diplomats, psychic pilots. Blackstone Fortress and Killteam creeped along this edge with some of their models, but it'd have been a nice alternative.
Prisoners could be cool and useful for narrative games as well, a handful of Eldar guardians bound with cuffs, etc. Basically something they could simply call the "Diorama Line" or some such. Again it's a pointless suggestion but in a dreamworld, perhaps.

It'd be awesome to see more of that stuff, especially for as hard as GW wants to "forge the narrative" while usually offering zippo in the way of rules support for that sort of thing or models/terrain without explicit army-related rules.

Didn't there exist an Inquisitor Obiwan Sherlock Closseau model at one time way back in the days of yore, before I was even a thing? I swear I've been shown one once.
As for the main threat question, uhh... I can't think of any models that I'd be like "yeah, I'd like to see that" that wouldn't have a faction and doesn't exist right now, since really the top of my list for that is "Arvus Lighter", but one of those does exist from FW. Maybe some Imperial civilian trucks and cars would be cool to see.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades! |

Oooh. Good idea. I'd like a Ultima Class Battle Barge in large enough to play with the gun turrets but small enough to move it around my desk making spaceship and gun noises scale [so something about the size of a medium-large tank model].

A line of exarchs, primaris lieutenant style.
Just go crazy on ornate war suits, cool weapons and crazy kung fu/ninjitsu poses.
They're made for being one off unique, because they all are.
A single bounty hunter xenos for each alien race mentioned since RT. You'd get an amazing array of cool designs and unique aesthetics.
A chaos version of every xenos. A genestealer cultist of every xenos.
A Pre-fall maxed out eldar hobby hunter, like the predator crossed with Dune, completely decked out in the most advanced systems ever devised, grav harness, building insane speed and flight, multi layer energy fields, fractal targeting dirsuptors, auto healing systems.
And psycho reactive weapon blanks that reshape themselves into whatever weapon they desire in the blink of an eye.
Show why they became so indolent, they literally had no fear of death and their every whim was catered for - how about a graviton pulsar that pulls chunks of the moon down onto their target?
And these are the redneck hobby hunters of the pre-fall eldar empire.
A Krork.
Eldanesh and Ulthanesh.
The first Tyranid, from which all others desecend.
Basically nothing about humans, they already get the lion's share of the miniatures (both Imperial and chaos forces are mostly human or human based, which makes up easily 3/4s of GW's products).

There's one still available in the Armour Through the Ages box -
Oh no, never mind then. I wanted conan the cyberbarbarian with a laser gun.
That's from the 80's, and as Eipi10 pointed out has always been labelled as a marine in MK1 Thunder armour rather than an actual Thunder Warrior. The fluff has moved on a bit since then (Marines didn't mainly use bolters until early in the Great Crusade - Volkite was preferred but was harder to supply, for example).

I think of them as a bit like the pre-fall eldar equivalent of a Spyrer, looking for stimulation to their existence they go slum it in some random warzone, killing all and sundry like it's a video game, but with 'risk' because they're physically there.

I'm not sure the following list really counts, as these are things I'd just like to see in 40K in general, not necessarily as "random character guy". Although, if they were just "random character guy" that filled a niche role with their 40k rules I'd be fine with it.
1. Skitarii HQ. I'd love to see some guy that is basically a Skitarri sergeant +1. Just throw another wound and attack on the guy, give him some decent weapon access, and one special rule. It would make A LOT of people happy.
2. Vespid leader cast. Basically this would be to stingwings what the Guardian Drone is to the Spindle Drones. Bigger, meaner Vespid (all ready in the fluff).
3. Kroot Master Shaper

FW should make models of all of the Chaos gods and give them absurd, unbeatable rules, but make their points and price so high you'd have to be mad to get them. But then of course, sanity is for the weak.
