OK, it’s been 5 days my my watch, time to call the winners!

In third with 28 votes, Modock with an amazing Streloks Duo...Boarding Shotgun and Marksman Rifle.
Spoiler:

Squeaking by with one more vote, QAR’s excellent chaos havoc.
Spoiler:

And taking first with a healthy margin, DV8 and a motley collections of Agents of the Imperium
Spoiler:

This has been an amazing round everyone, with top notch work from everybody. Everyone is doing amazing work every month and the standard is getting higher and higher. Keep pushing yourself to top the last month, and work on getting your July entry finished; it’s almost time to start on August! Remember, as long as you post a proof picture and paint it all in the month, it’s never to later to enter.

See you all in the next month!

Thanks for the feedback, Feltmonkey. It's rare to get it!

I think you're right, the bases would look more natural if the sand was on a more similar color. I think I could switch to that without making my army look un-unified. I'll give it a try on my next miniature.

Thanks for the feedback Feltmonkey and Modock; good luck with the next round everyone (I might even manage to make it two in a row for the first time in a while!)

Seeing those guys, the old idiom “When you hear hoofbeats, you expect horses, not zebras” crossed my mind. Followed buy “Someone is going to be in for a surprise”

Cheers for all the votes and support! I always think everyone who gets something done for this challenge is a winner in my books, but I stick to the top 3 for a classic podium finish (although I don't often pick the bronze, silver, gold). There's always something to love about every entry.

My picks for this month, in no particular order:

Modock - Streloks Duo
What can I say. Clean work, and I'm just more in awe of your photography. I struggle to get my photos looking as crisp as the models do in real life.

feltmonkey - Greedo
Love the bright colors, and I'm fan of the Wars though #biase (although I really do love your rendition!)

QAR - Havoc
I love just how clean and crisp this model is, and despite how much is going on with the base, it doesn't fight too much with the model. The blue definitely helps it stand out. If I had to make two critiques though. The red barrels draw a LOT of attention (if that's intentional, great; personally I would focus on torso and head). And the gold NMM is all too similar to the base in tone so it kind of gets a little lost near the weapon and feet, but thankfully the blue helps to fight back.

Thanks! So I did the barrels that way to create the effect of them overheating, to evoke the feel of him unloading hell for leather, and to tie in with the facial expression. I initially had a stream of empty cases coming from the ejection port but I removed these as they didn't look like the shells in the belt.

Thanks DV8, ironicly I always wondered how you take you photos, cause I think they excellent. I guess the grass is greener on the other side...

Photos are definitely my weak point. I just use my phone camera and a gsw light box.
