Not really. Guns are tossed in with the second pair of playable characters, and anti-grav skyships are central to the entire game. From little ones that are similar to the escort skiffs around Jabba's sail barge in Return of the Jedi, to massive great honking things that rival SHIELD's helicarrier.
And robot drones. Lots of robot drones, even in the intro tutorial.
The open world map is definitely FF-style fantasy, but anything to do with the Empire immediately ratchets up multiple tech levels.
The PS4 Spiderman game will not be getting free upgrade to PS5. It will be a paid upgrade if you buy Mile Morales or you can buy the Mile Morales Ultimate edition that includes it but it will not be available on it's own.. PS4 Miles Morales will get a free upgrade to PS5 though.
Well that's disappointing I was hoping for the free upgrade like a lot of other games are getting I guess it's the ultimate edition for me then as I wouldn't mind replaying the first game.
I've a feeling TLOU2 will be something similar so I'm holding out for the PS5 "remaster".

Wow, that's a very unintuitive way of getting the PS4 Spider Man game on next gen, usually they just release it separately for the next gen version.
If I knew they would be making a PS5 Armored Core game, I wouldint even bat an eyelid and pre order right now today yesterday...
As things stand.
It depends how much I can get for my PS4 as a trade in with all the games. If I can get £150 off with trading in my crap I'd grab one of those. Especialya s they already anounced heaps of PS4 games I never got around to playing being free.. Also.. Another souls game.. Goodbye life for about 2-3 months lol.
The £300 would be around the mark I spent on my last GPU for my PC so it doesn't seem so bad and a hit I'm willing to take lol.

The ps4 games in the plus collection are not free they are part of a subscription service.

I’m sure that there will be plenty of people at launch, who, like me, have already sunk hundreds of hours into the original Demon’s Souls, so its not like buying it at launch will give you much of a gameplay advantage if you haven’t already played the original.
My advice would be to just play offline until you are comfortable with the combat style. It’s an amazing game!

Glad I locked in Gotham Knights for €65 price has gone up to €75. I expect Suicide Squad to do similar closer to release in 2022.
Also Insomniac have confirmed the PS4 Spiderman save files will not transfer to the PS5 remaster you have to start over but Miles Morales PS4 save files will transfer if you upgrade to PS5.

We loved working with John Bubniak on the original game; however, to get a better match to Peter Parker/Spider-Man actor Yuri Lowenthal’s facial capture, we have cast Ben Jordan to be the face model for Peter Parker on the PS5 console. He looks incredible in-game, and Yuri’s moving performances take on a new life.

Not gonna lie, not a fan of the weird new look they gave Peter. Especially when Otto basically looks the same.

An no don't get me wrong, I love the game! At the risk of sounding like a twonk and 'in before it was cool' I originally got an import copy of Demon Souls back on the PS3, as at one time it had been released in the far east only.
Most of the time I do play online - there were a few places in the previous game which were a PITA for getting raided (and the guys that do it are always obscenely powerful) so I must confess if I've died a few times on a section because of that I'll disconnect just to get through it. But, for the most part the later games have let you mitigate murderers with the different clan rings and by getting help.
One of my favourite tactics in the last game was using that item that turned you into a piece of furniture, then hiding somewhere, then sitting back with a magazine and watching the person run around for half an hour until they got bored and logged out
