I'm just now starting up an Ork army, and you've got me prowling Ebay for old models. These look great!

I remember painting those Orks after the box came out. Ended up giving them all to our Ork player later that same year. I have picked up a few of those one pose Grots since, but most have had a head-swap to make them a little unique.

Are you going for peak completionist box set nostalgia and looking at plastic plugga-Bolter marines next?

Or is the green wave expanding into more 2nd ed. classics, old warbikes or classic characters?

Either way, if you're done, I Love what you've done.
If there's more I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Working on some second edition blood angels to go with my second edition orks for gaming.. Painted up in 90's old school style..


I was out of official blood angel 2nd edition decals so using ink scape drew up some ones to match old school and printed them on some water slide decal paper I had and clear coated and then applied to the marines..

I never cared for those orks and gretchen models in the 2nd ed box, but actually, your paint job has elevated them to the point where I really regret giving mine away all those years ago! The dread is great too, good use of 3d printing, love the classic goff scheme all round.
