I'd say space wolves, every day and twice or three times on Sunday. Why ? One word Wolf, two words, Many wolves..boom! There is your reason. Need more ?

Seriously though, space wolves just feel good and their unique units feel good.

If you don't like wolves though, maybe go with BA. Personally, I love their terminators, Dreads, characters and of course use of Thunder wolves..with or without a sleigh.

Definitely Angels. God how they massacred my boy 5th onwards.

Last time I played was around 2004ish, and I am thinking about getting back into the hobby and playing Space Wolves again. But by going all in on conversion for Santa Grimnar and his helpers. Partly because I have no idea what I was thinking with my current models loadouts and partly because I have no idea if I can even use my old models. Its nice that Space Wolves can have successor chapters now, but losing the Sleigh makes it a deal-breaker.

I'm thinking 500 points Outrider detachment to start:
180pts Santa Grimnar with 2 reindeer(Dasher & Dancer)
155pts Thunderwolf(reindeer) Cavalry 1 w/ Stormshields & Chainsword & 1 Powersword/axe? (Prancer, Vixen, Comet)
150pts Thunderwolf(reindeer) Cavalry 2 w/ Stormshields & Boltgun? (Cupid, Dunder, Blixem)
15 pts and a Cyberwolf Rudolf

I was also spitballing a 500 point Vanguard detachment with 2 Primaris Techmarines and 8 units of Servitors with 2 heavy bolters (or whatever) per squad. And theme the Servitors as Santa's little helpers. But that's a lot of Servitors...

Well you are in rare air to be a sleigh lover as well my friend. Well here is the thing, with such a theme list, no such too many servitors. Would I run that many servitor/elves ? No, but I like where your mind is with this army idea !

Side benefit, if you run it you will make some confused and others rage. Nothing is as divisive as Grimnar on stormrider.
