It's normally handled by their armour though if they're suited up.
Allowing them to remain suited theoretically infinitely, as long as they periodically refill the nutrient dispenser and clean out the waste filters and such.

Amberly Vail talks about wearing power armor in one of the Cain books, and she states It's not all Holy unguents and anointed oils. It's more like 10 thousand years of bad sweat and farts. It is established cannon, Space Marines fart.

Ian Watson established that in Space Marine. Basically the Space Marine Scouts had to infiltrate up this very narrow pipe, by flexing their bodies (and gluteals). Yes, a line of Space Marines flexing themselves up a pipe and farting into the face of the one behind them. That's seriously what happened. I am not joking.

Well, its into their armor, unless they were scouts, it wasn't into someone's face.

They were scouts, and it was into someone's face. The characters even apologized for it as they were going up.

Is been a while since I read Space Marine. I recall them eating it, but not specifically mentioning that it was theirs...

They farted in each other's faces going up that pipe.

In their ritual, the Imperial Fists mixed their blood along with some kind of amber-like substance that fizzed in a chalice then drank it, later excreting out hard spherical amber streaked stools. One of the characters wondered whether the Librarians did some kind of divination or other stuff with it, as the excretions of at least the Chaplain were stored after each ritual.

Yeah....Ian Watson seemed to have a fascination with that end of the human anatomy.

Considering Ian Watson was purged from Black Library (for very good reason), I don't think we should be taking any lessons in anything whatsoever from his work ever.
Blood Angels being vampires has always kinda seemed to be the angle of their lore, like how Space Wolves are Vikings and Ultramarines are Roman. Deffo the handsome noble variety of vamp rather than big spooky bat however, as seen with the Knights of Blood if an Angel overindulges the Thirst they do basically turn into bat monsters. Pretty neat IMO.

Er... No, he wasn't...

To be fair, 'Space Marine' isn't really considered cannon anymore, but it certainly fit the setting at the time. It just had a certain amount of focus on poop and tyranid sphincters.

One of the Fabius Bile books has an exchange about a chaos marine not being able to 'find his own waste shunt with both hands.' The context is exactly what you'd expect, so some sort of access point at the rear of the armor.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

You mean where they ram that long hard boarding torpedo right into the sphincter of the hive ship and tear it a new one? (Yes, this also literally happened.)

The good thing about the Space Marine novel though was how I think it perhaps more so than later BL works conveyed the warped morality or amorality of the Space Marines. Live fire practice against an otherwise peaceful village of low tech men, women, and children (or possibly mind wiped people made to act the role of feral humans)? Sure, the Emperor wills it. It also suggests that spending decades in an all male warrior brotherhood means normal humanity becomes hard to relate to, and women seem alien.
The novel is also where the idea of Imperial Fists as masochists comes from.

"To slay is to pray"
"Pain is the wine of communion with heroes"

The marines have seemingly had females around since the Heresy- from strong female ship captains dressing down Angron to serf girls wondering why the Space Wolves are a boys club in M41. That may be a retcon to please modern sensibilities, but it kind of pisses all over the 'mystery of women' to marines.

Your chapter may vary.
