Sorry for the slight necro, but are there now two 1d4chan?

The old .org page is up again, so what happens with the .net now?

Helpful as 1d4chan is/was as a for-dummies reference - one that I won't say I was entirely above using or even getting the odd chuckle out of from time to time - it has/had an edge to its sense of humor that belongs rather firmly in the past.

"Sense of humor" has literally always been an evolving, subjective thing affected by society and culture. To say otherwise is just an excuse to try and pass off things that are no longer socially acceptable as "jokes".

I am happy to see 1d4chan back up. Humor is timeless. You either recognise it or not. Proponents of the new cancel culture evidence a deficiency in this regard, perhaps mostly due to their singular intolerance for anything the value of which they not only are unable to recognize but that they also feel somehow qualified to judge. Obviously, this is impossible, like a blind man judging a painting competition. And frankly, I will not live in a world without colour because someone who cannot appreciate something tells me that it is not there.

Humor is also based on where you are at your age. When I was younger I was fairly fond of standard "edgy" humor (black jokes, r**e jokes, ect). While if I didn't find the occasional one still entertaining, I find the lion's share to be stupid and trying-too-hard to be offensive. However I also recognize that just because I'm older doesn't mean everyone else is. There are plenty of kids out there, at the age I used to be, who enjoy the things I enjoyed at that age. Telling them they're "wrong" for that, or trying to say all r**e jokes are bad and should be forever cleansed, is an utter over-reaction.

And even aside from that, 1d4chan has plenty of reasons to exist. Plenty of the lore articles are absolute side-splitters with narry a r**e joke in sight. Their tacticas aren't half bad, with those for older editions being incredibly useful. Their insight and tactical discussion for various fringe & small-time games are unique and useful. Some of the abstract information compiled (such as the Broo) is damn hard to find anywhere else on the interwebs. Also they've got Boat Murder.

Seems .net is down in return. Irritating as googling say seraphon tactics leads to .net which is down so need to modify url to .org
