JL would not be the first TV series that being based on literature does a slightly slow burn just to not run through the content too quickly. However, it does still need to be entertaining and I found it pretty good, as just when one story line got dull, the other kicked in. I still think it was a lot better than some other mindless streaming series that could not hold my interest for more than an episode or two before I bailed.

I am saddened and maybe the villian inspired focused series will be more to everyone's tastes - I will give it a go if it comes out.
