Yes, you too could be missing out on a limited edition, only sold for one year, slight variation on a regular model.

Like, oh my god, what if you'd never in a million years be able to produce the equivalent model via conversions or basic modeling techniques.

Of all of the things that a person might be risking missing out on, this shouldn't be one of the ones they worry about.

If brushing off manipulation was that easy, marketing wouldn’t focus on it so much.

Guess you would prefer then these would never been done then? Just unsculpted, non-released.

Limited Models have an appeal. They’re something a little unusual.

Normally, to get these you need to be Right Place Right Time. Or you can seek the assistance of my Loot Group to see if someone can fix you up.

GW making these available to order, whether for one day or nine is welcome, as right now, anyone who wants one can get one. This also impacts the scalping market, which for my way of thinking can only be a good thing.

You don’t want either? Sweet. Not like anyone is twisting your arm. Fancy either or both? Now is your chance to get them for a set price and free shipping.

@tneva,

Yes. I am constantly bombarded with marketing in my hobbies. The level of fine crafting and manipulation have made them more and more miserable to experience. I would love it if release schedules slowed down and hype trains eased back for a while, if the underlying sense of pressure building made way for an honest cycle of anticipation and resolution.

Eh, the Knight Questor looks decent, but nothing amazing. Might consider it if Knights Questor were actually, like, good. Then again it's hard to say until the battletome comes out.

I already have the store anniversary female knight questor with the spear which is actually pretty sweet looking compared to this, so looks like I'm going to pass on both of these.

Never said it worked on me, just that it was some of the most shameless FOMO marketing I've ever seen. "Buy now so you don't miss out!" literally twice in three sentences has to be some kind of record.

The Stormcast is a good looking model but the one I wish they would re-release would be the Catachan Colonel. I know they won't but I still want one.

I don't even play Guard and I'd buy that one, if it were ever available again.

Remember that these were supposed to be for a series of tournaments too.

Florida's spiking again, so there's a chance they'll be making a cancellation announcement.
