Exactly. There's probably more than one reason the Flash Gitz cartoon about GW was often mistaken as being about EA. GW never really changed for the most part. They just hid it and temporarily stopped their ship from sinking. Once the money was in they did much of the same. Bloated rules, constant faction arms race with new codexes and really crappy treatment of fans.

Hard to see this being good long term.

FWIW it thought TTS was very good early on, but they largely ran out of ideas years ago and the writing deteriorated as a result. "Here's half an hour of us talking but its not actually funny in any way". I guess the WFRP one raised a few laughs just for the memories.

I haven’t seen them in forever but I wouldn’t be shocked if they went downhill. Edgy comedy just isn’t allowed anymore due to the “no fun” police.

Yeah you can't be non offensive and funny, even professional comedians can't do it.

I had never heard of this at all and spent most of yesterday thinking Tabletop Simulator was killed off.

Exactly. You generally have to make fun of something or someone for a joke to work and these days someone's generally always offended by something one way or another. I think people should understand if you're going to get bothered by the comedy that much maybe it's just not for you.
