The model itself is...alright? It's looks good for what it is, but I don't really like the idea of these special edition models being too festive themed, or the Red Gobbo.

The Red Gobbo as a limited edition miniature is fine, but I very much prefered it when Grombrindal was the character choice for a christmas mini. Either him, or Bugman. They're both iconic, well-known, beloved character who have been around for years and years and are associated with big parts of GW as a whole, as well as the setting. The Red Gobbo in comparison feels like...here's just there for some reason?

Compared to the last 2 yearly miniatures - the Tech Priest Grombrindal and the Age of Sigmar Bugman - this one is just a lot less appealing. Those others felt less like a timed joke and more like miniatures you'd want to have all year round.

It's better than the last festive mini of him though at least.

If I’m being honest, I’d rather have a non-christmas red gobbo. Grot armies kinda could use a hq, and the old model was pretty neat.

Model is nice but it costs almost as much as an Underworlds warband. Hard pass.

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

Yeah, cost… thus the wonder about getting copied.

That's just how much single character models cost these days, though?

The cost isn't outlandish for the type of model it is, with the low sales volume it can expect. But I'm not going to drop that money on a joke Christmas-ornament mini when I already make my own joke Christmas ornament minis.

That is… though I will never pay for one. That said, a good 3D printer is not so much that … well, I wonder how many of these will be made of resin soon…

I own a Night Goblin army. He would be a great addition!

One minor thing though: Lets check the price first.

30 Euros?! Yikes! Guess my Night Goblins won´t get any presents this year.

Gobbo does look wrecked, as in after 2 weeks at different pubs while working, holiday blitzed, early Monday morning of Jan 6th sort of wrecked.

If not that, then, yeah, horrible.

Agree. I guess if I wanted to build one I would have to look for a suitably killer grot, use some green stuff, some tweaked ork weapon bits and a good goblin head, maybe this sort of thing could be made into a Gobbo sort of character.

I looked at the AoS squig hoppers... some neat kits! I wonder why this holiday Gobbo wouldn't have been modeled similarly? Sort of pagan power king of the holidays on his grand reinsquig, Gobbo Claus.
