Alphabetical by itself is no good. There are far too many datasheets. So, it would be best to still have some manner of classification.

I agree, what they did in the App should have also been done in the Munitorum Feild Manual and with one addition.

That's mostly what they did with the Codex Marines with a couple differences and a couple glaring errors, but even that could be improved by some naming conventions too. One difference is Epic Heroes are at the bottom/back which is what we're used to anyway, and Other is ahead of the Transports which is also mostly what we're used to. A few of the units are wildly out of place, and not all of them are named consistently so you have to scroll around or CTRL+F to find the actual name of the thing.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.
