Just like zombies, this campaign won't die. They are 2 days into the End Game timer.

There was mystery stretch goal at $3.6M that has just had the concept artwork released: a Davy Jones necromancer.

Spoiler:

The creators have promised a final mystery SG if they reach $4M during the end game. Backers have been clamouring for a Kraken the whole campaign, and the creators have hinted this might be it - IFF they hit $4M. Currently -$115k short, so they're getting close.

In the meantime, the creators have been alternating between dropping new equipment cards or new quests into the SGs every 6 hours the end game continues (need to read the Updates to see them).

And in case you missed it - there's a bunch of all-in options now, a box of the classic and previously limited release Compagnia della Forca minis has been added, and the StretchPay schedule was changed from 5 months to 8 months.

I get the feeling we won't see a plethora or unlicenced IP-infringing "inspired by" characters now that Asmodee is running the show.
Possibly a higher chance of more licened properties, though. And obviously, anything that's historical or has expired copyright is fair game.
Just don't expect the Sparrow Man or his Zoidberg-faced friend unless it's a licenced thing.

Well, as I expected, there are literally no "fun" "inspired by" survivors (aka unlicenced IP) which makes the whole thing a hell of a lot drier. I was at least expecting/hoping for some licenced properties/crossovers added in, as CMON was heading towards in later campaigns - or at least some interesting artist crossovers. I guess there's a reissue of the figures based on some obscure Italian comic, so there's that...

Still backing it, but far less excited for this one.

Not "none", but yeah, almost. The last "regular" SG unlock, Captain Jane Finch, is an obviously female take on Jack Sparrow. George Washington made an appearance. Marty Feldman is in an add-on. There's a couple of other could-be/maybes, but not much else.

I ended up pledging for the DMT gameplay all-in, plus a couple of other bits. The Orc and Goblin expansions look like they'll be lot of fun.

I'll be honest, I didn't even notice a gender-swapped Jack Sparrow, though that's kinda in the who cartes basket without the male version. I didn't spot Marty - is he in one of the add-on boxes?
Washington more fits in the "Blackbeard" category of historical figures, though I also felt like they could have leaned a bit further into those. Overall, I'm pretty underwhelmed. I'm not even a Lacuna Coil oir TMNT fan particularly, but I was expecting something fun like those in lieu of Asmodee obviously being much more careful from a legal perspective.

Fewer mini's compared to previous KS:

Looks like a good starter pack of pirate vs undead mini's!
