Jfrazell - I think we'd need a good 5 pages at least for the FAQ to be worth anything. Remember that list of FAQs that yakface drew up? It was pretty long
Actually, I *completely* disagree with this. If they answered just the 10 most relevant questions (granted, that's subjective) for each new codex and the main rulebook, we'd already be in drastically better shape. Hugely better shape. I appreciate all of Yak's hard work, but the reality is that GW doesn't need to drill down that far to make a significant difference. And that's why the lack of FAQs is so frustrating. As others have said, I think we're all going to be very disappointed by the FAQs, if they ever even arrive. It's been too long with too much buildup...combine that with GW's general lack of attention to detail, and it's not going to be pretty.

I think I woulda preferred to play the Achilleus of your expectations by lashing the GW design team to the back of my chariot and dragging them around Nottingham. But hey, I'll take it.

The LOTR ones have just been updated as well. Who knows maybe we'll see one by the end of next week.

I wish you two would stop Hectoring each other. This thread is turning into an Odyssey of classical references.

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias |
