At least the new striking scorpions aren't in ridiculous, anatomy-defying positions in which a warrior would never put himself.

poses include 'Single Leg Flying Crane', 'the Drunken Eight Immortals', 'Hiding Tiger Leaping Dragon', and my favorite, 'Monkey Stealing Peaches'.

And while you may not conside this guy a real warrior, I'm not gonna bet he couldn't kick my... tuchus.  Heck, my knees don't even bend that well anymore.

Demonstrating the proper positions of the feet and knees in four of kung fu's major power stances is sifu Shi Yan Ming, the highly regarded 34th-generation Shaolin monk.

As for the new sculpts, I don't think any of them are really an improvement.  I liked the dynamic poses of the previous scorpions, they reminded me of lithe, fast, but heavily armored fighters who wouldn't be leaping around acrobatically like banshees, but wouldn't be trying to stand toe-to-toe with a 7-foot steroid-monster marine or ork, either. Duck & weave, baby!  The new scorpions are far too static for my taste.  So anyone who plans on trading out old for new, contact me about getting rid of your old.

We need to name the poses for the aspect warriors.  After all, they have been following the warrior path for centuries, and there is certainly some sort of formal structure, probably including forms, for each of the paths.  Alas, the new sculpts do not lend themselves to this conceit.  As an example, look at the Reapers.  Their only stance seems to be 'Air Guitar'.

Start in Seattle then hike across the sound.

Well there you have it. The reapers are a love it or hate it figure. Personally I'm some were in between. I really hopee they re-do the bikes. At least the helmets anyway.

What ancient Eldar wisdom said its okay to give hyper speed grav-vehicles to the dunce hat troupe?

Naturally the pressure of the airstream on the swept-back bullet-shape of the helmet aids in keeping the pilot's head facing the right way. Otherwise they'd be looky-looing all over the battlefield (Dude! Did you see that? I totally owned those orks!  No, seriously, slow down and check it out!).

Sheffield. U.K.

With the exception of the loincloths and horn/fang adornments to the helmets I can't really see that much difference between this round of Fire Dragons and the last.
I'reckon Id have to be extremely flushed with cash to consider buying these just for what appear to be a few cosmetic changes.
As for the Scorpions, surely it's only a matter of time before they're given special rules concerning chameleon-like camoflauge, shoulder mounted blasters and extendable wrist-blades. :~)

Dreadlocks in space. How about the predator scorpions. Older scorpions look better and are better proportions IMO. Although they are much better than the phallic heads they tried to pass off last time. Older reapers are better looking also. Dragons and Avengers are better though.

I'll take you up on that old eldar for new eldar, Fellblade. I have some of the current Fire Dragons and Banshees that I want to get rid of for these new ones. PM me if you are interested.

Other pics of the reapers don't have them showing off the massive cranium (It looks like Sputnik!) so I think it's just wonky GW picture taking again, like the chimp-nosed genestealers.

That's my theory as well for the Eldar resculpts, Drake. Anything that jes didn't do, got redone. Anything he had done, no matter how old, stayed as is. And I thought there were 3 variants among the Warp Spiders, not counting the exarch.

I'm considering saving a little cash and just sculpting some eldaresque shoulder pads to my old Rogue Trader Aspect Warriors. They would look just as cool as these ones, I'm thinking. Though I love the new Banshees all to peices... Ah, who am I kidding, I'll be getting a box of each, resculpting old Aspect warriors or no...

True enough GrimTeef- I just checked and there are three standard warpspiders. They all still look the same to me though :p

I think for most chicks any musicain using a whammy bar knows it doubles as a clitoral stimulator. They must, most of those rocker cats are fugly.
