I agree with Gits - the bronze goes with the green very well, and I think you've chosen the right shade of flesh too. Well done!

Thanks Gitz and Warboss for the comments.
Here is the finished model, for now, redid the horns as they had to much of a tree like look to them I think they look better this way. Dirtied up his smock and laid down some green ink over the armour. Can't wait to get the DG on the table and roll some dice. Again thanks for looking, will post up a few shots of the army together soon.

Going to finally get a game in with my Deathguard tomorrow. It's a 1000 pt battle, I am a light on anti tank but have a lot of bodies, my plan is to have a mass of troops supported by characters. The drones will harass and maybe outflank, while I keep the Conagion lord in reserve to help out anyone in cc.
The plague drones and plague bearers I bought from a local gamer last year. I want to rebase the drones, any ideas on how to remove the old material without damaging the drones?

Looking good

What is on the drones bases that your trying to get off, and how is it applied. I've heard that freezing a model joined by superglue will make it brittle and snap apart, but if it's plastic glue it's bonded.

I think your army looks fantastic Yorkright. Please, please take some photos of the battle and give us a little bit of a battle report!

I've rarely had luck removing old basing... I usually just snap off the old base and make a new one to my liking. I've tried the freezing thing but I've never had much luck with it.

I think the glue is just Elmers/PVA, may try to carefully scrape it off. Otherwise I may try the freezer trick before snapping anything.

Not where I should be

Army is looking impressive, great work.

I have had success with soaking in Dettol to remove basing material, though would be difficult to just do the bases.

Short Batrep with a gob of pictures. My opponents army was Blood Angels, 5 squads of death company led by Brother Corbulo, the Sanguinor and 3 rhinos. Very fast with Corbulos and Sanguinors buffs make this army deadly if it gets to charge.
My army was the models from the Dark Imperium supported by plague bearers and plague drones. I made the Lord of Contagion my warlord.

We used the open war cards for our game, if you haven't used them I highly recommend them. There were 3 objectives, one in each deployment zone the last being in the center. Whoever controlled the most objectives wins at the end of 5 turns. Angels win to set up first, he finishes first and gets +1 to go first, which he wins after tying on the first roll.

Turn one: Angels drop from the sky and rhinos move forward, they shoot a few poxies and plague bearers off the board. My go has the army shuffle forward, drones come in on my left and the Lord teleports in amongst my army. I cast a spell to buff the poxwalkers and use a stratagem to bring them back should any unit die near them.

Turn two: Angels move forward shoot some more poxies and plague bearers. The rhinos shoot the foetid blight drone dropping his health in half. Sanguinor and one squad of death company charge plague bearers and wipe them out. 5 of my pox walkers rise up and look hungrily at the blood angels, whispering "brains". On my turn the army shambles forward, the plaguecaster buffs the walkers and the blight drone. The drone sprays the death company on the building killing one, and the Deathguard adds fire support doing nothing. The plague drones attempt a 10 inch charge into the same unit but fail taking a wound. The poxwalkers multi charge the rhino, Sanguinor and death company. It is a more of a slap fest with the pox walkers losing most of their numbers and killing only one death company.

Turn 3: Rhinos dump out 2 more squads of DC then withdraw to shoot the blight drone along with a unit of DC that destroys it. The units in Combat with the walkers fall back then the massed shooting kills but 5 pox walkers. A unit of DC charge the blightbringer and The Sanguinor charges the Lord. The 2 units of DC, and Corbulo charge and kill the remaining walkers. My lord and blightbringer lose a few wounds and manage to put 3 wounds on the Sanguinor. My go again and I need to kill off as much of his army as possible. I move the Deathguard to support my hqs, plague drones fly over to join in the scrum. The psychic phase has me casting smite on the Sanguinor that removes his last 3 wounds. The assault phase I charge the DC, Corbulo and rhino closest to my board edge with the DG. I kill the DC but Corbulo and rhino survive with the priest down 2 wounds. The drones smash into the jump pack DC nearest the blightbringer I kill a couple but that's it.

Turn 4: My opponent has to go on the defensive, he withdraws to get on his objective and protect the center. Corbulo leaves combat, jumps in the rhino and scoots around a nearby hill. His other DC jump out of combat, he shoots into the drones and kills one. My turn leaves only my drones with enough speed to get to the center. I charge his DC and kill all but one.

Turn 5: Short and sweet he kills 2 of my drones leaving me with one. I jump out of combat and shoot the him off the objective.

@ Gitz, it was great to get a game in. The new DG have a lot of rules to remember so it took a bit longer to play our game. Overall I really enjoy the army and will be adding some new units soon, picked up Mortarion at my FLGS after my game.

WIP of Morty, so many bitz but can't wait to put some paint on him.

Also a few pictures of a project I am working on for someone in my family. Haven't decided which army to ally them with.

Thanks guys, the wings are one of my favorite parts of this model glad you like them. Have not had a lot of time lately for painting but put in a few hours on Saturday. The minions have been a bit of a pain, should have done them separately and would suggest that to anyone who wants to tackle this model.
Here is a little updated picture with some drybrushing and washes done.

Mortarion is finished, can't wait to get him on the gaming table. So far I have a little over 1200 points of just Deathguard painted, picked up another foetid blight drone and should be able to start on that soon.
