Nice useful sculpts. They don't look as rag tag as I expected, but at least they only have one "just standin' around" sculpt unlike the veterans of the watch unit.

I think the standing around one is a recruiter so be maybe 1 in the box?

That's what Night's Watch needs... a buff... something to help them on the table... *rolls eyes*

In all seriousness... if the releases start coming out at a health clip, and stock issues are resolved i'll be a happy boy. I've been playing this game constantly lately and just want more of everything.

Yeah from what the locals say the night's watch are ridiculously overpowered. I still bought the starter box because I like the sculpts. I'll probably have to get Wildlings as well at some point.

The last two sets are bosses.Witch of Hemwick and Shadows of Yharnam.

Kind of glad I didn't like the video game nor do I care much for Cuthullu mythos stuff or I'd be all over this and that would hurt my efforts to save up for something else.

From my experience thus far, Night's Watch are already super strong. HIGH defense, further defensive tricks and loads of model returning options. I think giving them more options in the form of countering their one weakness (low activation counts), is not something that needed to happen. :-p

Really looking foward to this, though I'm not a fan of the kickstarter exclusive expansions, though it's a normal thing with CMON isn't it?

Is there much availability of them on ebay etc?

There is but at pretty crazy prices. If you don't get them within a few months of release, where they're usually 2x the cost from the kser, you can see them skyrocket up to 10x the kser cost.

There's still a clan from Bloodrage I'd like to get as I like the look, boar, and they're $250 on ebay. Original KSer price was around $25 I think for add on clans (though this one was free).

Well I guess we may have a better idea why the Crystal Brush is moving from Adepticon to the CMON expo

GW has just announced the Golden Demon (USA) is back at Adepticon next year

I saw posts about that in facebook days ago when this was first announced but figured it was just wishful thinking and not a rumor worth repeating here. Guess I was wrong.

Last call for the Bloodbourne KS, 4 hours to go

(it wouldn't shock me to see the PM being slightly more expensive given the news about potential tarrifs, I could see CMON wanting to hedge against it just in case)

Can you tell me more about Trudvang? I guess with the Book of Fables I'm sated with storytelling, but I'd like to know more about Trudvang. Thanks!

It's orginally an RPG that was Kickstarted about 2 years ago for an English translation.

http://www.riotminds.se/games/trudvang-chronicles/

(kickstarter page for lots of art https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1256540796/trudvang-chronicles)

The game is a living world game where as you move around and complete objectives things are changed like a city may be raised so it's gone the rest of the game. But unlike a legacy game your actions may not be remembered by history which would cause somethings to reverse (what the trigger is I don't know) so it would be difficult to always play the same game twice.

Plus Paul Bonner inspired minis which is another big plus for me.

That video makes Trudvang look super boring. Hopefully the minis are good. I've been waiting for this one.

I’m really hoping Trudvang is a miniature heavy KS. Not just because the art is so nice, it deserves lots of cool minis (lol), but, if the rpg of the game is as popular as it is, having a solid group of minis to reflect that (special hero classes & races, unique monsters, etc...) is important. Plus, I just wanna ton of Paul Bonner fantasy figures!

This is pretty much my hope too.

The "storytelling game" part has me worried this will be filled with expensive, heavy cardboard that excites board gamers ala Solomon Kane rather than the sweet sweet plastic crack we all know and love in these parts.

I'm OK with that if the gameplay actually looks good. Solomon Kane didn't hit that mark for me.

Trudvang has been around for 19 years, and the original books are still some of the most beautiful and original RPG books I've ever seen. Stellar world building. That said, a choose-your-own-adventure, dudes-on-a-map game is not what I had hoped for... that teaser alone really deflated my hype.

Does Trudvang have any reptilian player races?

That'll be my criteria.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Nope. It's all Scandinavian. Very Dwarf heavy. Most monsters are Trolls.

I don't even think there's a lizard race at all in the monster manual.

CMON have published their 2019 Q1 report

https://cmon-files.s3.amazonaws.com/pdf/cmon_file/file/356/e_09255_AD_1___CMON__ESS.pdf

Turnover up - $6,808,476 versus $2,671,285 last year
Gross profit - $2,650,385 versus $761,480
Profit/(loss) before income tax $81,813 versus ($1,250,798)

Retained earnings at 1st Jan 2019 $9,246,137
Total Equity $22,667,619

During the three months ended 31 March 2019, we have launched one Kickstarter game namely Munchkin Dungeon with fund raising of US$701,618. We will continue to launch games that attract and retain a significant number of players so that we can grow our revenue base and sustain our competitive position.

Our revenue increased by approximately 151.9% from approximately US$2.7 million for the three months ended 31 March 2018 to approximately US$6.8 million for the three months ended 31 March 2019, primarily due to the increase in revenue from wholesalers and Kickstarter. The revenue from wholesalers increased from approximately US$2.5
million for the three months ended 31 March 2018 to approximately US$5.2 million for the three months ended 31 March 2019, primarily due to sales from wholesalers in the United States of America. During the three months ended 31 March 2019, we recognised Kickstarter revenue of approximately US$1.6 million mainly due to the shipment of Cthulhu: Death May Die , HATE, Starcadia Quest and Zombicide: Invader

Everything looks positive especially in light of the losses they were running at one point last year. I suspect the wholesale figures are inflated by them dumping a lot of stock cheaply and it remains to be seen if this is a once off. Interesting that KS only accounts for about a quarter of their income. Q2 should be boosted by the Bloodborne money although it depends when they recognise that income.

They are also opening a physical store in Singapore this weekend.

But this time there will be more than two sculpts per clan?
