as lot of these threads have been started in recent time i have decided to start this one up. who would win the plague infested death guard with full deamon support or the empire? as i've been supporting the empire thus far i think i'm going to have to side against them this time simply due to deamon primarch. but let's see what everyone thinks

Wait... you're weighing a single legion of Space Marines, less than twenty thousand supermen, against the entirety of the Imperium? Not only does the Imperium have a million supermen of its own (three thousand of which are trained specifically for the utter destruction of all things chaotic), it is built upon trillions upon trillions of men, each and every one of them ready to take up arms should the emperor call for their aid. This goes far beyond one-sided, it would be a complete and utter slaughter.
The only time the traiter legions ever cause a real threat to the Imperium is when they all work together, with assistance from renegade human support. And even then, they've been pushed back every single time. The Death Guard don't even make up for a 10th of that.

the empire in SW, not the imperium. title should have made that clear but oversight i guess, lol. and yes were they against the imperium i'd agree with you

Yeah, the Empire would be utterly slaughtered as their casualties rise from the dead as Zombie Plague victims. While Typhus and Mort reap a heavy toll all for Papa Nurgle.
