Hey Guys I am here to tell you about the new Army deals going on at Iron Forge painting!
We have really re-done the whole way we do commissioned armies.
We now have three choices of how to have us make you a cool pre-built army for your games.

Choice one: Speed list
This is the cheapest way and the fastest way to get a commissioned army done. This is where you tell us the army you want to build and we will make you a 1500pt list of that army ( you will get to proof read it of coarse.) then you send us the money and we will buy all the models and build paint base and ship them off to you usually all within 2-3 weeks! This is a very easy and fun way to get a very nice looking list and models are painted to above table top quality. this usually end up with a price tag of only $500 total FOR EVERYTHING!


Our next option is the next step up :The premium package
This is our most popular deal and it's the premium package it is the where we just listen to you and do what you want you can give us a themed army (such as elder jet bikes or Elysian Valkries) and then we will paint up your army to a very high standard. There is the option of a display board to go with your army as well. These tend to run anywhere from $600-$900 if we buy the models.


The final choice of a premade list is the top of the line :The Forge World deluxe army
This is a pretty pricy but diffidently worth it choice it is a extremely ornate or converted army (Such as a full Death Kops of Krieg army or Chapter house studio Salamanders.) This package will be done to the finest quality with ornate conversion allot or all forge world models and resin bases. this will come will a display board and battle foam carrying cases. this runs from $1000-$1200.


all armies are shipped in protective foam and bubble rap.
we can do armys for any game out there and if you just want a display board for your already painted army we can do that too.

Yes we paint everything and you are always welcome to ship models to us in that case Ill have to give you an estament of the price depending on the size and amount of models. The best way to do this is to take a photo of your army and send it to me in a PM.

Warmachine/ Hordes armies tend to be fairly cheaper so for the same price as the first choice you could get some really high quality stuff.

And about the website. We are a fairly new company and I have just started to work on our website so I should have it up in about 2 weeks or so.

Yes. the Games we paint armies for are Warmachine Hordes,Warhammer 40k, Warhammer fantasy, Lord of the Rings,War of the Ring, Flames of war and Firestorm Armada.

I'm amazed you can buy and paint a 1500 pt army for $500 and not go broke. You really shouldn't use that tank as a premium example though - typos aside, the slogans look much less cool than the rest of your work.

That's pretty hot and tempting... how much would it be if you just sent in models you already had built and based? What does it come out to per model around?

cool @Major Tom I charge about 3 dollars a model for already painted models and that's about the quality of the desert guardsmen and thats 3 layers of highlights and full details (pupals of the eyes and all that little stuff. Also for command models I like to do something extra special so for a large army I will do full blending and mybe some NMM on the heros free of charge.(that is 15 dollars per model other wise.)

@Pyrail I can diffidently do some orks for you pretty cheap. And thanks and It was the only other pic I had on hand and thanks.

and I airbrush all the tanks so NO brush strokes.

I ran a similar paint company (part time) for three years. I used an escrow like service where the person would send me the payment to that company, the money stayed there until I finished the item & it was mailed back tracked/signed for/insured, the person mailed me their assembled minis first of course, I primed, I painted to either level 1 (table top) to level 5 (award winning) standard, sent pics during progress, had several links to accounts of mine like ebay & 100% positive feedback, my website, my coolminiornot gallery, and so many other "safety" factors for my clients & potentiel clients etc.....

If I were you I'd get better pics, make a website, there's ways to "validate" yourself and place logos on the website, use a middle man financial holding web company for everyone's sake, buying minis is a bad idea IMHO......

Can I ask how old you are? (This will be one of MANY questions I was asked, like "do you smoke" "how long have you gamed" "how many years have you painted" "have you won awards" and so on). I see many spelling errors, and the prices are very low (to good to be true is screaming in my mind, and you know the old saying of "when it sounds too good....)

What is your policy if someone does not like it? 20% refund? If you don't use escrow service will you use paypal? Paypal is tricky, many people who paid and got what they wanted from me, reveresed payment at their bank and got there money back and paypal wont do a thing! True.

Hey Spartan legion thanks for all the cool pointers and we should diffidently talk so you can maybe help me out with all the credentials and helpful things to know about starting a commission business. And sorry about the crappy pics guys they were taken with a crappy camera but I am working on getting all of that upgraded and hopefully starting to do some army showcases on youtube. As for the models and the army deals I am going to try to order everything through Collectormainia in Parker Colorado. That's where I have been doing a local miniatures painting service and have just recently decided to branch out onto the internet to try to get things going on a more than local level.
And for the whole prices being too low I figured I would start out low considering I am not well known at all because I am sure that if I charged the same price I am sure that people would much rather go to blue table painting or Ai collectables.
Hope I could clear up some misconceptions,

hey guys here is a better picture of the quality of a lvl 3 army. this is my personal blood angels army.

Strange, but from what I have seen the most impressive paint is on the lvl 1 guard in the first pic up top.

The guard turned out very well for the amount of detail I put into them.

The models are really good for a baseline troop, and that makes it easier. Also, personally I find the spelling errors on the side of the Russ somewhat less offensive. I mean, I can surely imagine the average imperial guardsman being some quasi-literate.

Try promoting in your sigs and posting photos in your gallery.

You know Grognard I just realized that YOU were the one with the Paint Monkey stuff all over you .

Keep plugging away. Practice makes perfect and all that. I've seen people who were TERRIBLE painters practice a bit get better, then start accepting commissions. They got so much work that the practice just increased their skills tremendously.

I hope the venture works out well for you!

Keep plugging away. Practice makes perfect and all that. I've seen people who were TERRIBLE painters practice a bit get better, then start accepting commissions. They got so much work that the practive just increased their skills tremendously.

I like the idea of you buying the models with a retail account to reduce costs for everyone, thats a pretty nice idea, your costs really aren't unreasonable compared to what i've seen.

however I think you need to work on your lighting/camerawork to really pull in customers, for example I know the first post has guardsmen with badass camo, but i can't make it out, and I can sort of see nice edge highlighting on that BA, but not really

And it doesn't bode well that your blog hasn't been updated since July....

July of 2010.....

Great looking work, definitely better than what I could do, and price seems reasonable.
