Well I did really great for Christmas, got me Necromunda from my much better half, and the kids did me proud with a Start collecting Flesh Eater Court, ripe for conversion, and pack of the Nurgle guys, going to have quite a Nurgle army.

Could not resist starting on this fella....





Thank you all for the fantastic support you have all given me this last year, I am missing you all badly at the moment, I will try and get a few review posts up, hopefully get things sorted soon.

In the mean time, off to Necromunda, at last.

all your spiffy works with nurgle aside...i am eager to see your take on anything even remotely connected to ´munda....because, believe me, i am sitting here and taking notes...!

Finish an actual army...Death Guard probably.
Do at least another tables worth of terrain.
Start a new blog, pulling everything together.
Do some articles for Dakka, probably tutorial based.
Build an underhive refinery.
Compete in every LoER comp.
Build a Ork Gargant, ( probably donate it to anyone who wants it.)
Move and review studio area.
Sculpt a 40k Tyranid titan.
Build at least 3 superheavy tanks for guard army.

Hope that wets your appetite. Pics soon promise.

i like your additions for the straight out of the box gangs! using ogryns for the goliaths is a good choice...they like beefy and you cant get much more beefy than an ogryn^^...the scout sniper is also a good idea!
the escher additions are from vinnie too? one thing...the escher background "singers" could do with some love for their hairdo´s...but i guess you´re working on that already!

The old citadel journal had additional rules where you could add extra mercs to gangs. Goliaths could hire ogryns, since that's everything they aspire to be, and Escher could hire ratlings, since that's how they like their men

Very pleased to see some underhive dwellers who actually look like they live in the underhive - top job!
Makes the GW examples look cartooney; way too clean-looking for gangs that scratch out an existence in the corroding lower levels of a hive city.

Looking forward to this upcoming informal gameboard challenge! I will be backing Forgeworld Camkeirhi needless to say..

Looks great but I think a black lip on the bases is needed to balance the contrast. Whilst there's a certain appeal in them dissolving into their bases, I think they need to stand out a bit more to show off how good 'n' crusty they are.

I agree the lips of the base could use some colour - though I'd consider a brown (mainly because that's what I use I suppose). Lovely, disgusting work on those Nurgle models

Agreed. The top of the base can be a part of the scenery in which the mini is placed, the whole mise en scène thing, pardon my French, but the sides... Not really. But then I have unorthodox ideas ,' bout bases and basing. Mainly because I hate doing the extra work.

I look forward to your first Necromunda batrep, replete with pictures, of course. The gangs look stylin'.

Looking forward to a Necromunda bat rep, especially if it is on your custom terrain. Deathguard are looking good and crusty, but I have to throw my vote towards having the lips of the bases changed to either black or brown.
