Any chance on providing a paper template for those? I think this is one of my favorite articles yet! Kudos!

Thanks for sharing that, mate! Not only was the article very good, but this thechnique could be used for scratchbuild bio-titans and the like very easily too. Nice!

I checked out your blog and portfolio too: I take it you're a pro artist and propmaker? The terrain that you did for the model railroad set- especially the water effects- is brilliant. If you would care to write any more tutorials, I assure you there will be an audience to enjoy them.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Thank you very much. I have been thinking of doing a few more tutorials. Specifically how to wipe the tip of the glue gun on the surface next to the glob you are applying to avoid "threads" all over the place. If you like the railway water effects I should maybe do that too.At the moment i am scratch-building a primarch for a commission and this is a steep learning curve for me to sculpt a miniature from greenstuff or epoxy.

Wow Great Tutorial, I really enjoy the technique, plus it requires absolutely no plastic bits or kits. I love terrain that can be made on the cheap this is a classic example of great work on a tight budget. Also do more tutorials please. There can never be too much inspiration/ideas for terrain especially if it is as high quality as this.

Pardon the pun but this such a cool tut it should be "stickied".

Definitely will have to give this technique a try prior to the next local tournament's terrain upgrade.

Awesome, I love terrain that is simple and inexpensive but fun to make. I would like to make my own table eventually and the less money i have to spend on it the faster it will be done. thanks a lot ! looking forward to more.

This is a truly fantastic tutorial... it seriously makes me want to run out and buy a glue gun.

more tutorials of this quality would go down a treat around here. I'm always trying to find ways of making decent looking trees.

Awesome tutorial!

Question about the paint: Is the rubberized bitumen stuff the only thing you applied to get the effect? It looks two-toned but I'm not sure if that's just the card showing through.
