I have started up a Black Templars army in table top, I wanted to incorporate the other games into a FLGS campaign involving Battlefield Gothic, Epic Armageddon and Planetary Empires.

My question would be this, out of the BFG range what size ship would be a Space Marine "Flag ship" specifically a Black Templar Crusade ship?

I would think if possible a Battle Barge but a small Crusade could be adminstered from a Strike Cruiser

Their Codex (on p8) mentions the Chapter is fleet based and has dozens of Battle Barges and Strike Cruisers as well as Forgeships and training vessels.

Several Battle Barges are named: Sigsmund's Light, Eternal Crusader (Chapter flaqship)

There is actually a set of Black Templar rules out there in PDF form. You can find them here, just scroll down to issue 90:

http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/

There are rules for the Eternal Crusader and some special BT ships in there, although be warned that these rules are not currently on GW web site, and when they came out a copule of years ago I remember some concern that they were unbalanced. Still, that would be a good place to start for your BT fleet. The good thing about BFG is that you could always just use your models to represent a stock SM fleet out of the rulebook if your opponent doesn't want to let you use the BT rules.

As for the flagship, I would go with the Battlebarge. It is a neat model, and does well one the tabletop.

So just use the battle Barge?...That i can do, i was looking through everything really to find my own version of a ship the size of "The Eternal Crusader"

So i could use it as the "Niveus Ornus Templum" Crusade Ship in the fluff aswell as the game

No problem

High Marshall, I would be careful trying to make a ship the size and power of the Eternal Crusader. Keep in mind, that ship is supposed to be a one-of-a-kind uber-ship, serving as the HQ for the whole BT chapter. I would recommend keeping the basic battle barge stat line (3 shields, 3 turrets, 12 hits, 6+ armor) and tweaking the weapons/special rules to give it the desired BT feel.

Just to shamelessly tout my own stuff, If you're going to do a campaign that involves crusading, why not try my Expansion? Details in my Sig. Feel free to make up your own rules if you feel it would be appropriate of course. (Make sure your group agrees first though.)
