North Shore. City Guard is good, whenever I feel like I've been playing my mates too much, I try to sort a Cityguard game.

I prefer to have an opponent and a list made before I get there though, its not really a long time to play.

Well technically i play da hehe, i do have a small guard detachment though! Also chaos and a small ork force as well. I work thursdays but may be able to make the odd evening, thats sort of why im looking forward to kill team so much, good scope for quick games.

I am looking at doing a dkok guard army, but its more of a long term plan for 2014 as it will involve shadowswords and possibly a reaver

Awesome, we play heaps of different games but the cool thing about 40k is you will always have a game (even if its kill team). Anyways PM me if you wanna know more. Its a proper club with a committee and terrain and so on, so everythings pretty much ready to go when you arrive.

just launching out into the hobby with a friend of mine. we're based in Coromandel so probz not gonna see any luck with regards to weekly games and things beyond the two of us.

anyway, good to meet you all. also we were thinking of going to this years Battle Cry tourney in Auckland to just check whats what and spectate on some IRL games. Are there any folks here who have been before? How was it?

Equinox might be better than battlecry for 40k

40k wise most of wellington region and kapiti that I see seem dead now, or at most a game here and there.
