Tomorrow I'm having a bagel for breakfast, which is about as interesting to people as a painting and modeling blog with no pictures in it.

In future I would suggest you have the pics ready to go, or at least some form of question to discuss or get help with (although that would belong more in the p and M section as opposed to the blog section) so we can participate with you. No one is particularly interested in a vague description of your intended schedule to paint vaguely described minis!

not too bad at all, army looks good when it's all painted, and black and red scheme really appeal.

what bases are you going for? i noticed the ven dread was grey rock. we're you thinking to apply that to the rest of them?

@Majortom - how was the bagel? i have it when they're too dry personally.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the comments! Sorry about the cryptic posts earlier, it was one of my first postings so I'm still getting the hang of it. This is my first army I've painted and I got a lot of tips and tricks from this forum that really helped, so I thought I might show you all it. I'm working on a land speeder and my Chapter Master right now, here's a taste:

I'd say they look good. Crisp colours and details. I would advise you to highlight or wash the models in order to give them more depth.

I like your idea for the Term basing. Gonna have to use that later. A little bit of green stuff to stream line the based and some flock it would look really good i think.

Very nice! I like the color scheme. Have you thought of any chapter iconography yet?

It's basically the red scorpions logo, just a different colour. Also I've switched the Chapters name to the Blood Scorpions, because the Scorpion shoulder pads

Hmm, I should have seen that. Blood Scorpions is pretty good: There's that bugger in mythology whose blood turned into scorpions.

You should file off the ultramarine insignias on the honor guard, unless you come up with a reason to have it.
