So I was just wandering around the FW site, and saw they brought back Epic Warhounds.

Anyone heard news about more of the Titan line making a comeback?

I really hope so. It would give me great pleasure to put Legio Tempestus back on the table.

One can only hope. Most of the IG line, GK and Tau are still missing though.

Considering I just picked up the rules I really hope they bring them back.

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you.

Random comment, at the FW open day in march I saw a guy showing mark bedford his collection of epic IG tanks he'd made. Not sure what came of that, as I wasn't really listening, but he seemed interested.

Call me nuts but what I'd really like to do is use both Epic and Apoc to simulate the large games. Problem is, it just needs to be supported better.

Hmmm, I seem to recall some rules for just Titan on Titan Warfare. Wasn't it called Titanicus?

From Wikipedia:

The Adeptus Titanicus (1988) rules and miniatures set, which dealt with battles between opposing Imperial Titans, was published first. Rules for infantry and vehicles (the troops and vehicles of the Heresy era Space Marines) followed in White Dwarf 109.

There was a box set in '94 that was called Titan Legions which refined some rules for Titans and introduced the Emperor class titan as well.

Wow...1988. That's one old ruleset then if it's still around.

It's not sadly. It's been superceded twice now by Epic 40k (one of the worst games I've ever played) and Epic Armageddon (which is one of my favorite mass systems ever).

Aye, this news had been out for a while at Tactical Wargames. Good to see it spreading out over more of the internet. Hopefully it will mean people stop offering me warhounds at OOP prices!
