So, I find that yes, the mark of Slaanesh is ok, but at an effective range of 15 cm it is not going to be effective until later stages of the game. Your opponent could very easily stay out of that ship's way, or neutralize it before it can close. The later is espically likely if you do not have any battleships in your fleet, as that means your Warmaster will be going on a much more vulnerable cruiser.
I tend to take the Mark of Tzeentch as standard, because it gives you another re-roll. This is especially important in a carrier or torpedo heavy fleet, as you will want those re-rolls to help you pass your reload ordnance checks.
The Mark of Kohrne is very useful if you have the Desolator BB, as it has 25 cm speed with which to charge into boarding actions. And, since it is a BB, it will have a really good chance to pull off a successful boarding action.
The Mark of Nurgle is useful for improving the staying power of your flagship if you are using just cruisers or GCs, as it can add to the hp of your flagship.
To summarize, you will want to take Tzeentch most often, Nurgle after that, Slaneesh sometimes, and Khorne only for more dedicated "close-combat" ships that you plan on boarding with.
As for the PK, the answer as always is "As long as your opponent agrees." What ship would you proxy with it? For a long-term solution, it is probably not the best idea as the PK is such a distinctive model and BFG is nominaly WYSIWYG.
