Subject: Hello all - New Chaos Space Marine player

Hi everyone, I am a semi-new warhammer player. I have purchased a reasonable amount of chaos space marines and am in the middle of painting them.
So far I have:
-Chaos space marine Battleforce
-Daemon Prince
-Bikers
-Predator (built it to swap all the weapons on and off or use as a rhino)
-Abbadon the Despoiler
-Coverted the space marines from a Battle for Maccrage set into chaos marines (just used some horns and skulls to give them the look lol)
I live in the US in Maryland, in Montgomery county. So far I have only ever played the game with some friends from Baltimore. I don't know of any places in the area for playing warhammer, so if anyone in the area does know a good spot I would love to know.

Welcome! Good to see another CSM player around here.
Lol you lucky git. Baltimore is the gw capital of the US. I'd say start by going to Gamesday.
Try checking the find a game forum too.

Thanks guys - I used to live in baltimore but now I am an hour and 15 minutes outside of it - closer to gaithersburg/rockville. I haven't seen any GW's or games shops around here yet.

Seriously, go to Gamesday. It's August 21st, and it costs $25 IIRC. It might be a bit of a drive, but it will totally be worth it. You can game all day, see new stuff coming out, and score some free minis.

I really like the Chaos Marine Battleforce set, it's fun to paint! Looks like you've got a great start of an army! Can you post some pics of your Loyalist to Chaos conversions? I'm not very imaginative but you sound pleased with the results so they must look good
