Hello everyone!

This is my first PM blog so I hope this goes well. I have Decided to strip all my orks and have them repainted, all of 150 orks. My painting skill has increased and I started to paint Marines (I will so some pics of them) so I wanted my main army to look as good as my marines. I was about 10 when I started playing orks, and I painted them like a five year old, so time for a change.

I will post pics tomorrow as soon as I can. But first some help, I have a tub filled with orks, and I thought I would fill it with Super Clean. Does the super clean work with about 40 models in one tub or will it work with a few models in the tub? I hope that made sense.

EDIT Yeah 500th post!

Super Clean is the best when it comes to stripping minis, just make sure you wear gloves when your working with the stuff for a long time...

Watching with interest! I second the call for Gloves, but I say Dettol beats Super Clean.

Get us some Before and After Close-Ups, particularly of any Characters you've got, as well as some Pictures of your Marines!

Should be fun, getting the Paint off 150+ Orks. Your Painting has definitely improved, we can see that from the Pictures. Looking forward to seeing the Stripped Result.

Looks good so far! Except I see a couple orks with paint on them

10 models a day is pretty extreme....Unless your doing them "factory style". I don't even think I can paint 10 backpacks in a day! (I'm pretty lazy. I lose interest pretty quick )

spotted some mold lines on your old models, make sure to remove them this time bfore you repaint the orks nice stuff you got. Like the colours on your marines.

How long did you let the plastics soak for? I have some models that I'd like to strip but I'm afraid of melting the plastic!

Stripping 150 Orks? You, sir, must have the patience of a saint. The new paint's looking good though. Really like your technique on the skin. What's your secret?

@BobboDaGreen- a day or so, good thing about super clean is that it doesn't melt plastic!

@hungryp- Thanks, I use a dark green base then paint a pale green on top of the ork skin, leaving the dark coat in still showing, Highlight with a mix of bleach bone and kharloc green, then wash green done!
