I'm working on building a new IG army and I'd like to build up a fleet of Dave Taylor-style trucks to use as Chimeras in my army. Dave's been kind enough to post templates for the trucks on his blog here: http://davetaylorminiatures.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2009-10-05T20%3A57%3A00-07%3A00&max-results=7. Unfortunately, I need like 9 of these guys for my planned army, and I don't fancy the thought of having to cut out all those pieces by hand. Consequently, I've contacted a friendly local laser cutter who can probably take on my project, but I need to get him the template files in a CAD format.

Has anyone else been through this process already and put together the CAD files necessary to give to a laser cutter? If so, I'd love to get a set of them.

Well I can ask around here, I was able to scour one from a customer for a chimera. I was thinking of taking it down to Staples to have it printed on cardstock.

You got the templates? Or one of the Dave Taylor-style trucks? Yeah, ask around if you can, I'd like to hear what folks are doing there with them.

I've sent an email directly to Dave to ask him if he's got any CAD files, or barring that if he can put me directly in touch with the folks that did his laser cutting to see if I might be able to order some cut sheets from them.

I have a roommate trying up some CAD for the halftracks if your still looking.
