Look no scouts! I will just make a 1000 point scout army later. I like the idea of drop pods and doing a drop pod assault. all of my units will be deep striking into play. How does it look?

I'd take a Librarian and attach him to a Sternguard unit.
Using gate, this unit can move around in the enemy zone.
Spend the freed points to add more combi-meltas.

Should I just give the libby nothing?

More combi-meltas would be a good idea, it looks like them and the dreadnought are your only anti-tank. I'm a Chaos player and I dont have a SM codex, so I'm not sure how available melta bombs are but I suggest putting them on anyone that can get them.

I have the speeder squadron with 3 multi-meltas

If you put the Librarian in Terminator Armor with a Storm Shield, it'll cost 140 points, which is the same as your Captain's current cost. He could then fit in the Drop Pod with your Sternguard Veterans as well.

My other advice would be to split up your Land Speeders into separate squads, instead of a single unit of 3. I'm also not a fan of the HF/MM combination either, but playtest them, and see how they do for you.

Looks good, other than you'll be completely at the mercy of the Dice Gods.

I'd drop a Speeder and the captain to put Lysander in with your Sternguard. He can really soak up some wounds. Plus he Twin-Links your bolters, which is nice.
