Hey guys just wanted to show you my work in process of a SM Vet this is my own chapter colors

First of all, great colour scheme, particularly like the amount of cool colours used all over the model. Second I would like to see the model completed before I comment on the paintjob, but so far so good.

(Edit) Sorry, just wondered how you painted the Power Armour that lovely shade of grey, Would like to know!

It's actually an Ultramarine. He just used B&W photography to mask his shame and lack of creativity.

Honestly, it's a very interesting scheme. I'd have to see a few models together, especially on a table, before I could decide if I liked it as chapter colors or only as a novel artistic direction ("Hey, check out those greyscale marines!"). Either way, the execution looks pretty skilled, so good on you, there.

Update on the VET but i think im done with it idk what else to do besides do some lettering on the banners and maybe work a little more on the base and here are some other minis still working on for the same chapter

first off. love the paintjob so far
second your vet's boltgun looks like its a little bent in the first pic (maybe the pic is messed up)
third is he a vet for your chapter or is he deathwatch? im noticing the big Inquisition I on his shoulder.

When I saw the first couple of pics I was gonna say that it looked awesome but might look better with a couple of items coloured red...then I scrolled down and was proven right!

Im not sure i say its a Vet for my Squad but idk why it has that shoulder pad i look online to see the model and the one on GWs site has an wings like an eagle type of shoulder. I got this guy for a buck and i was wondering why it had that.. and it wasent and add on because i try to remove it and it was 1 whole piece

I like it! It reminds me of a black and white photo, I bet if you wanted, you could paint your army like that, nothing but shades of black/grey and white.

As another note, they look very grim and dark, if thats what you are going for. Again, I like it alot, keep it up!

Lol, as much as I like it, it screams "Hey look, I painted my minis but I want them to look like they're unpainted greys still."

This is the most nihilistic Warham I've ever seen. Looks cool though, just very depressing and... Scandinavian. Your models and photography remind me of an IKEA catalog, but in a good way.

Pretty easy actually all i did was a quick paint job with Codex grey and then a heavy wash of black shade and then just clean it up with codex grey again lol

Considered this stolen for my next group of marines.

The very soft, cool colors of the armor coupled with the bright, vibrant sling and purity seals is givin it a Sin City feel...which is pretty fething awesome if ya ask me.
