Howdy, quick question. When a bound spell item miscasts, it turns to dust and can not be used any more.

1) What if the bound item is an armor/shield/otherwise usable item? Does the person lose their armor/shield/whatever as well as the bound spell stored in said item?

2) What if the bound item is a banner? Does the unit lose the banner bonus, no longer recieving +1 CR, since the magic banner is turned to dust?

Agreed with 1 & 2 - the item crumbles, it doesnt say that only the magical attribute of the item is lost.

what banners have Bound Spells in them?

There's a few. Banner of the Undying Legion for Tomb Kings, a Warriors one that shoots magic missiles come to mind right away...

never encountered a bound banner before.

Yeah, I played against a list back in 7th that used the Warriors' one- maybe the Banner of Wrath? Lost track of it when managing the magic phase and it blew away my dragonslayer...

And the Tomb Kings banner is almost standard in most TK lists.
