Well I thought I'd show you one of my oldest terrain projects. It was my first thing I ever built, and certainly the biggest so far. Started building this a while back but I'm often very busy so I don't find much time to work on it, but this is it so far. Tell me your views, comments and criticisms. I'm not one for planning things out, which isn't great because I've often ran into problems whilst building it. I'll give you a few stages;
Constructed of foamboard, as you can see. It's pretty big already here taking up much of the floor.
Excuse the horrible painting ^^
Work In Progress picture, making the mountain
Sorry, killer chicken in the background there ^^
This is a really enjoyable board to play on, and I plan on making more big projects in the future. I'm likely to sell this one, for space is running out . It does make great fun for scenarios, and when you have whole armies breaching the walls & all, it's well good!

hehe cheers for the nice comments.. For now I've given up on it & moved onto other small projects. My next big project is going to be a cathedral - should I post all my terrain stuff up here or on the model making section?

ehe I did have the thought at the beginning and I could probably still do it actually. If it did it, it would not be a functional one - just the outline. What you think?

Hey man, cheers. It's taken around a year now for I find it quite difficult to find time to work on it. Thought I'd throw up a few new pics I took a while a go, sorry they look a little dark.
"Looks like something that came straight out of WETA Digital while they were making the movies. Major props man, its awesome" - lol wouldn't say it's WETA standards yet, their models are insainly detailed.
