I just got some new stuff for HE army and I desided to paint them.
First I had to take a look to my older HE stuff, which pretty much looked like this:
So I am going to make some IoB-HE soldiers in heraldic colours of Sweden.
I'll update as frequently as I can.

WIP Lord on Griffon. I'm bit scared of painting that thing, 'cos there is so much details and stuff, but I think I can make it : D
And here is my dear loved Phoenix Guard Champion, which is not ready yet but I thought I have to update this blog.
Any comments?

Hard to make decent comments so far as they are not yet finished, but just make sure to not darken down the cloaks/metals too far unless you specifically want a dark HE army.
Fluff wise they tend to be described as shining and bright, so if you want to keep them so, make sure to not start with too very dark a base colour for the likes of the cloaks

Well most of my figures aren't so dark, but think about Phoenix Guard.
They have travelled from that shrine of them (dont remember name) to Shifting Isles. It is long way to go, so they can be a bit gloomy and stuff...
And my HE are guardians of coastline in Cothique, so they aren't so bright and shining as HE from Lothern which is big and beatiful city, for example.
But yes, you are right, I have to make more shining models. Maybe when I get to Swordmasters I could do that... : D
Thanks for comment!
