Ahem, is this what I think it is?

If so sir, consider yourself a god amongst men, and I'm fairly sure, with their.... steeds they wont need melta!

But if you can pull this off well, it should look awesome, good luck dude!

Hahaha, fantastic! Never seen any done like this before

I think your GS needs some smoothing out - it doesn't take too well to sanding, but if you want nice smooth lines, there's nothing stopping you from just taking a sharp knife and cutting away excess / lumps.

Keep up the ace work though, can't wait to see him painted! Do you have a scheme in mind?

Also, yes meltas are worth it.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

SPAAAAACE SHARKS!

Seriously, though, nice conversion. Although I think where the fins meet the body could use a bit of finesse.

Well... it looks pretty aweful right now, but it looks like you're going somewhere with it. I assume you're going to clean up the green stuff work.

I'd be interested in seeing the final product. Like Scarper, I'd never seen this approach to Rough Riders before.
IMHO, Meltas are the only worth while weapon, aside from flamers, for a squad who can close the gap the way rough riders do.
Keep us updated.

Dude this rocks. I run mine naked, apart from a plasma pistol on the serg. sometimes. The lances really are great, but once you've used them they're good for nothing else

And I wouldn't bother with Mogul Kamir. Fearless and FC is awesome, however Rage ruins the whole unit for me.

RR are a surgeon's scalpel, which you use to devestating effect to level a part of your oppnent's army that should break the back of his force. By this I mean Termiantors, MCs, Skimmers, HQs etc.
Giving them Rage means you're going to spent the vast majority of your games wasting their Lances on Tacs, Guardians, Conscripts or Gaunts. And you don't want that.

^Oh dear...

Don't forget the lazors shooting out of their eyes....they may be flash lights....or laspistols....or both!

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
