I've considered for some time if I'd prefer "Fireteam/Regiment" boxes that had either 3 models with alternate arms for each, for a similar price to the current SWC boxes, or 4 models with alternate arms for ~15-20% cost increase. I honestly wouldn't mind either.
Much as I'd also like to see a "Support/Deployables" box with Koalas, Pandas, tinbots etc. 1 per faction would be IMO overkill and anything other than that would annoy people too much. Direct sales of things like Drop Bears, Fast Pandas would be welcome.

There isn't anything wrong with single model blisters. But they should have arm options for those figures.

At the very least, you should have a box set with 4 models, each of which has at least 2 arm options. And then if desired you could sell 1, or maybe all, of the models in that box set individually with the same arm options. So you might have 5 SKUs, but it would really only be 4 different models from a production standpoint. That would ease production burdens.

For people who only want 1 specific model for a specific list, there are people out who buy box sets and sell the parts individually. Or they themselves could do that. Buy the box set and sell the rest. But most players will buy the whole box set.

You don't even need 2 sets of arms per model, most 4-man boxes are 2 of the same bodies doubled-up with different arms for each. The Grunts box as mentioned is the same body for the HMG & heavy flamethrower, and the sniperrifle & rifle+LGL fit on the same female body. Just include a 3rd weapon arm set for each body type with a basic combirifle (or rifle, in the case of Grunts) and for very little extra metal you have the option of making up to 2 of them into basic goobers

With the release of the “Warcor Worldwide FAQ” and the events that occurred in its aftermath, Corvus Belli feels the need to make the following statement:

● We have always supported and will continue to to support fan initiatives that improve the game - especially if they come from our Warcors, which we view as key pieces in our international recruitment strategy for Infinity and Aristeia! We love the passion within our community, and we think that each and every warcor helps us grow. That’s why we agreed to allow the -internally called- “Warcor Worldwide FAQ” to be written by a group of Warcors, despite the fact that it was not going to be an official Corvus Belli document. It was always our intention to carefully read the document once it was completed.

● We firmly reject any sort of disrespect in ANY of our official channels, no matter where or whom it comes from. Everyone has an opinion and a right to be heard, but we will not tolerate last weekend’s disrespectful behaviour. The warcors responsible for such actions will immediately be removed from the Warcor program.

● Once we reviewed the document, the “Warcor Worldwide FAQ” - we found it did not meet the standard that we as a company strive to produce. We want to be very clear that Corvus Belli does not recognize the document. It is an unofficial text that can mislead players. It also is not endorsed by the entire warcor community, and it contains a great deal of incorrect information and misinterpretations of the rules.

We hope that these events have a silver lining, and we can learn from them in the future.

Thank you for your time.

Heh...what a wild weekend it was!

TLDR version: on the official forum, a document was posted on Friday(after CB closed office hours) that was effectively houserulings from some WarCors. It kinda blew up in a big nonsense storm and was a bad time in general.

Only reason I post this quote is so that people can be aware of the circumstances or what happened.

It was a huge poop show. I saw a lot of people freaking out thinking the document was official.

CB: We're going to let these Warcors release an unofficial FAQ that we've read over and signed off on.

Community: This must be official.

To be fair:
It was presented in a very official manner by a WarCor on Friday--again, after business hours for CB so nobody was 'there' to refute it or whatnots.

There was a lot of hubbub over specifically how the thread was titled at the start but since it's all been deleted/locked away...I can't really link to it for anyone who wants to see it.

QFT.

I saw the beginnings of it. The Official forum's 'usual suspects' got up to their usual antics.

Will it compel CB to update the FAQ and errata more often, or even answer rules queries on the forums? You'll only need 1 guess to get the correct answer.

Back to N&R: Adepticon is at the end of March, so if there is something interesting coming, we should see an announcement-teaser on 18 February? I'm still guessing new book with updated campaign and SpecOp rules. New book will have Ramah and who knows what other sectorial. Shasvastii?

Official forums. 'Nuff said.

I did post a reminder about what is criticism and what is complaint. Too many folks confuse the two things. The post no longer exists. Meh.

And there is one less WarCor now, I note. At least one less. What a debacle.

The old forum, read-only now, is going the way of Google+. Maybe in a few hours from now? If there is any content y'all want, now is the time to save it.

Meh, it was a mistake, not a major one, and CB actively swiftly and correctly.

All good, no harm done. No let's get back to the business of talking me out of starting tohaa.

Starting Tohaa? Have you been taking the crazy pills again?

Priorities, hombre, priorities. We've got Ramah coming. That is the sectorial to start. We'll see Svalarheim soon enough. Tohaa are still "under development" last I heard.

Wait 'til we know more about what Adepticon brings. There may be some Tohaa news. Or just more trolling from Bostria.

I know, right?

My two MOST wanted Sectorials - Ramah and PanO Svalarheima (Jotums dammit! Jotums!!!) - both due out this year?

And really, aren't Tohaa like the easiest thing to talk people out of anyway?

Rmah hold zero interest for me.... unless I can field a whole force of Azreals and paint them as Centurions.

But Svarleheima is a possibility. The Jotum is the only PanO TAG I don't own.

What drew me to tohaa was the comment from CanCon about how they were initially deigned to be basically space elves and were influenced by the elves from Hell Boy II

By buying them you'll be Angel sad as he hate's painting Tohaa ("so ugly" he says if you ask). If no one bought them he wouldn't have to paint them as they'd can the army.

Svalarheima won’t be out this year, not with Varuna having just come out.

Given the rework Seraphs and Tikbalangs got, I fully expect Jotums to re-armed with Supersoakers and pillows.

The current Jotum is pretty damn awesome - I cannot imagine it gets redone?

Meh, just playing, but I mean given extra options rather than redone - a la the HMG Seraph and Sir Tiksalot.

Taking a brief break from promoting my KS game to answer this one, as it was totally relevant to what I just did a few days ago...
When Life (army) gives you lemons (new profile), make Lemonade (a secular seraph?)
We can pretend it's an HMG, due to Commando Shooting.

I'd paint it as a fur vest. I'd also replace the gun with a chrome-tipped cane.

At least 5 less Warcors, all in Poland.

And I appreciate your distinction between criticism and negativity. It was a nice touch

Thanks. I post a lot of creative stuff -- terrain and painting -- so I am a bit particular about the distinction. I can, and do, take criticism, no matter the 'tone'. Complaints I just ignore. Not worth getting upset that someone has differing tastes.
