sorry if the points costs are off I don't have my codex at the moment. But is this lists any good, Please don't be soft on me for any reason.

You have a bit of a split in the list. You have a ranged Dreadnought, a DSing melee Terminator squad, a mounted Plasma Marine squad, and an unmounted melta/melee tactical squad.

I can't argue too much on the details of fixing this list as I've never really read the DA codex, but I will say that you should attempt to focus the attempt of your list. If your deep striking Terminators close, flesh out your tactical squad with close range weapons and Rhinos so that they can arrive in range about the same time the Terminators do. Either take a sit back and shoot army, or a charge forward and smash army.

If you can manage to convince a DA player to come in here they'll have specific advice for you.

would I be better off getting a small raven wing squad and dropping the dreadnought to allow for accurate deep striking (teleport homers FTW)

Tbh if you want the list to be a bit competative for DA ravenwing is probably your best shot.id take something along these lines. not got book so poiting is from memory...

Its hard to get much in at 1000 Pts for a DA army....
we seriously need updating.

Yous outflank the bikes and once you have th attack bike goes off on its own. Hold the 2 shooty dreads back shooting both the missile launchers and the Plasma Cannons. Try and keep the Vindicator in cover with front armour only visible were possible. keep it close enough to shoot but not close enough for melta weapons. Sammael. Keep back but dont worry about getting a little bit closer a in the assault phase you get a free 6" movement because your a jetbike. this can be used to get him away and back into cover when needed.

Not a very High model count i know but should be effective against the majority of armies. you have a average gun line with outflanking support for tricky obstacles that wont budge
