Another preview pic...

PzKpfw E-100 Kampfwagenvernichter Krokodil - Superheavy Tankdestroyer

The Kampfwagenvernichter Krokodil was a superheavy tank destroyer based on the E-100 chassis. The turretless 120 t design was similar to a tank hunter or an assault gun. It was difficult to manoeuvre but once it reached a solid tactical position it could dominate any battlefield.

The Krokodil featured a 17.5cm KwK 44 anti-tank gun that could engage any armoured fighting vehicle it encountered at incredible ranges. To defend against enemy aircraft and infantry attacks it featured a turret mounted 2cm Allziel MK (all target machine cannon).

It amazes me how the Germans pioneered blitzkreig in the early years, then suddenly turned full circle and made weapons suited only for defense, even before they were being pushed back.

Whats my game?

I agree, but damn did they pump out some AWESOME tanks in their day.

That is an excellent paint job. Is that for a game or is it just a model tank

I like the design of that tank...It would cool to see something like that incorporated in an IG army

I love the experimental and drawing board tank design of WW2 world at war and gearkrieg are some of the things I need to look at more closely.

Ahh, the good old DESTROYER TANK HUNTER ..
One of my FW favourites. Clearly based on German WW II tank hunters like the Jagdpanther, or Pz IV Panzerjäger.

Yeah that cool....but id still take the german version....Id like to see some more variety in a IG tank line up rather than the same basic leman russ or chimera pattern. Although when i start my IG in a few months, I will most likely fall in line with everyone else.

-- Does anyone happen to what scale plastic tanks would work with IG?

For tank sized stuff, 1/48 goes well. If you want giant engines of destruction, 1/35 works

I think anything russian or german looks good. Although funky tanks like churchills and M3's probably look good too

Getting OT I suppose though

Those are some good looking vehicles
