I agreed on a trade with Radi87 trading a Wave Serpent and 5 Dire Avengers (all on sprue) for his 5 AOBR Terminators and 2 Drop Pods.

He is located in the UK, while I am in the US. According to him, his stuff was shipped on 9//20/2010. I had shipped a few days earlier.

At this time I have not received anything from him, and when I contacted him last week to check the status, he did not respond. I know that shipping overseas can take longer, but 1 month is a bit much and with no communication I am a bit concerned that I got scammed.

If he entered anything (and I mean -anything-) incorrectly on the waybill, it's almost guaranteed to get detained by Customs. Happened a few times with some bumper parts we ordered from a GM Warehouse in the States. Someone entered an incorrect weight on the waybill and it got stuck at customs for 2 months. Did he give you a waybill/tracking number?

EDIT: As well, just noticed that it shipped less than 30 days ago. Stuff crossing overseas, especially if he only shipped it on a standard service level, can take around 4-6 weeks on average. So don't get upset just yet. If you haven't heard anything by the end of the month, then you can be pretty sure he's scammed you

As a former postal employee I will back up Metallifan here.

It can take a while for something to be shipped internationally.

Yeah I know that it takes a while, but my biggest concern is that he hasn't posted on Dakka since 9/22, and he never replied to the PM I sent him about a week ago.

Hopefully things are just being slow.

He might just be busy at the moment. It doesn't mean that he's going to leave you without anything.

Well it's been another 2 weeks and still nothing from him. No response, and his last activity here was 9/22 (two days after he claimed to have shipped).

Do you have a phone number or at least an Full name? I would run a search of Google.com for the various pieces of information to see if you can obtain a phone number and call the individual directly.

You could also start the whole "mail fraud" proceedings.

I would, at this point.

Would that be possible with a package going outside of the US or Vice Versa?

I do have a full name, but so far all of my searching has come up with nothing in the way of a phone number. I plan on contacting the post office to see about mail fraud.

More than anything I just wanted to put the alert out to anyone that might be dealing with this guy in the future.
