I just jumped on the GW site and prices are coming up as Island of Blood at $60, wyches and kabalite warriors at $15 and phoenix guard at $25 in the "have you got" column. As soon as I click on the link, the prices are normal on the pages. Does GW have to make good on the lower price values if the site is advertising them for lower costs, then showing real cost elsewhere? Sorry if this should be in "dakka discussions" instead...but if there is an odd price showing, I thought it might be newsworthy. Edit-Yes, I am on the US site. Not G.B.-it is coming up in US dollars and has the US flag at the bottom

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind. |

I just mean is it false advertising-I can't afford right now to jump on demanding the prices...but hopefully somebody else could benefit from making claims of false advertising? Who knows. Just trying to help out the community, if possible... Edit-never mind, they just fixed the mistake. Lock this up mods, the quick error at GW is done

Quick retort for you, legally a company does have to sell at the advertised price, BUT!!!! any business holds the right to refuse a sale or service for any one reason or another. So it's a yes and no on that.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House! |

GW honored the mistaken price for Battle of Five Armies a few years ago. It was 60GBP and when they brought it to the US store it was listed as $60 instead of $90. I bought two of them for a reason. They fixed it after a day or two but those of us that got in early enough received our product at the advertised price.

This is more of a "Discussions" kind of thing. It's happened many times before, and the misprints simply won't be honored. No big deal.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k. Rule #1 - BBAP
