Absolutely gorgeous model, though.

I wonder how difficult it would be to convert one out of a Fire Prism turret and some spare weapons? It would be the same price, and you'd still have a Falcon hull to convert into one of the pre-kit Wave Serpents.

The design reminds me enormously of the Star Wars Trade Federation grav tanks. Looks good, though, don't get me wrong. Looks like a very nice FA slot addition!

Good god the cost! (in money and points)

Rules have the standard Eldar 40% points increase for no reason. Seems fairly mediocre. Only draw is being a Fast Attack choice from the otherwise cluttered Heavy Support.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

With the new support weapons being plastic, and the new Fire Prism/Spinner turret, you shouldn't have any trouble converting these, although how much cheaper they would be is debatable.

Cool model, although I'm a bit iffy on the extra tail fins. Kinda pricey in points as it has to take 2 guns. 65 is the base cost with 2 x Shuriken Cannons.

But, I do like the feel of a squadron of these within a mech styled army.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

While we're on the Forge World Eldar subject, anyone know what book has rules for Firestorms?

Its a Tau Piranha but with more options. I like it and the model looks very cool.

I like the hull and the cockpit as separate parts, but I'm not big on the way that the model looks as a whole.

The rules, on the other hand, appear to be decent. And it adds the possibility of some decent firepower in the Fast Attack slot, instead of the over-used and abused Heavy Support slot.

Consider the cost of a viper add 2 cannons, then compare it to the hornet with 2 cannons I know I'd pay the points cost

Indeed. Also compare it to the WarWalker, costs 25pts more but you get AV11 instead of 10, Fast and Skimmer which is huge when it has scout. And on top of that its a FA choice which Eldar totally lacks as of now. Its a pretty damn neat unit.
With EMLs you pay 5pts more than what you would for a Typhoon speeder. Seems fairly well priced really.

I cannot believe in a God who wants to be praised all the time.
